Good morning Menu Friends - happy Junior Friday, indeed!
My egg retrieval went well on Tuesday The doc grabbed 5 eggs and all 5 were mature and fertilized properly - yippee! Now they're letting them grow and I'll get the next update on Sunday. Most likely we'll lose a few, but fingers crossed that a few develop. Keep those positive thoughts coming please!

G'morning Daisy & all!
Early morning for me. I got texts from Italy around 3:00 am my time because my niece was graduating and my family was sending me pics. I'll attach a picture. We don't do hats and gowns the way they do in US, but we do a crown just like in old Roman days. My niece looks so pretty in her red jacket.
QOTD: where I live doesn't get too hot so we don't have AC in the house. But I use it in the car even in the dead of winter if I'm too hot.
Accountabilty: couple of chocolate chips while baking
B: protein coffee
B2: eggwich
L: Real Good beef enchiladas (I'm so happy my local grocery store finally has them)
S: yogurt
D: Crockpot shredded chicken
My niece on her graduation. And with her sister. Pictures are in Pisa (my home town) by the river Arno.
Happy jr Fri.

Good morning, everybody.
First, great idea in your last sentence, Daisy.
I have blood work this morning, so my eating schedule is kind of off today. The restaurant at the hospital building where my endocrinologist's office is located is, wait for it, Einstein Brothers Bagels. No joke.
My oldest son fell into a puddle of mud yesterday. How that happened during the school day I have no idea. But he needed his jeans washed. He claims that he only has one pair of jeans that fit. Do not think that we are depriving these children of clothing because Marilyn is always asking them if they will go shopping with her. They have no interest until they are actually coated in mud.
I thought that I could skate free of this domestic crisis by giving him pair of my old jeans, but I skipped straight from 40 to 36 and don't have any 38. The younger son is actually the biggest of us three so I can't take any from him.
So last night became a frantic search to determine where the detergent vessel was located on the washing machine followed by an equally frantic search for the little container that is used to measure and transfer the detergent from the container to the washer. After attempts to locate said envelope and container and also to call Marilyn, i finally gave up and lifted the whole container of laundry detergent over the washer and just pushed the button. Kind of like a reverse keg stand, I guess. I am not sure whether we used too much or too little detergent but he wore them and everybody is off to school.
2 Burpees.
QOTD: I am bundled up in hoodie (with hood up) and covered with a blanket as I type this, so air conditioning is the furthest thing from mind right now. My sons will want it on, so we will have it on. There was a time when the car air conditioner used to make cough, probably because I had some fluid in my chest that was being stirred up. Not a sign of good health.
Breakfast: Yogurt
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Brisket
Snack: PB Fit and apple slices
Dinner: Sausage at hockey game
Have a great day, all.
