What's on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Good morning!
Menu :
B: Pure Protein bar and a small apple, coffee. Stat.
MS / AS Kaizen brand whey protein isolate shake with extra water
L: Spinach salad with cauliflower, broccoli, carrot slices, cottage cheese, and tuna. Italian dressing this time.
S: unknown but protein-forward.
QOTD: I drink coffee and water, and an occasional glass of milk. I try for the milk daily but I don't always think of it. 1 or 2 regular black coffees, sometimes a tea (black or with a Splenda), anywhere from 2-4 more decaf depending on the day, and 3L of water over the course of the day. And about 9 hours running to the washroom.
Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.

Is the Kaizen whey powder from Costco? How do you find the taste? I have been using "Allmax" and like it a lot.
LOL at 9 hours running to the washroom. I am blessed with a massive bladder and considering the amount of liquids I drink I don't go to the bathroom that much. My husband who is a "normie" drinks one drink and is peeing like a race horse ha ha ha

Hi Daisy and friends,
Daisy, I am glad you had a great day yesterday. I worry about your migraines! I just don't know how you can function with a headache.
QOTD: I have one 14 oz coffee each morning, and then 30 minutes later start on my water. I drink my ice cold (filled with ice) 32 oz Camelback water bottle all through the day. I aim for 3, so that's 100 oz. If I work out (usually 4-5 times per week) I definitely go over that. On non workout days, I reach 100 oz of water.
The food at 5 years, 3 months post-op is:
B: 4 oz ever roast chicken, 1 oz goat cheese
L: habanero and cheese chicken sausages (Aidells, from Costco)
D: I am defrosting bone-in, skin-on thighs and will make a honey garlic cast iron skillet recipe with chopped up potato chunks for Kris.
S: I have some mini peppers that need to be used up, dipped into greek yogurt with ranch seasoning
E: Kickbox cardio after work!
Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Morning! It's cold here this morning! I plan on running later, so I hope the sun warms it up a little before then. But, I brought gloves and a headband just in case. I drove to work for my first time today (I just finally got a parking pass) and my ID didn't work to open the gate of the parking garage. Luckily, I had another gate card for my service pass but that was an embarrassing few minutes while I dug it out.
QOTD: I don't measure how much I drink. On weekdays I have 1 travel mug size cup of coffee and then I have either a Venti decaf coffee or a venti passion tea. After I'm done with those I have water, flavored water, and normally about 4-5 cans of Diet Coke per week. I would say I get 48-64oz of water per day. More when I'm working out heavily or in the heat.
My Food:
- (2) Eggs, (1) Slice of Cheese, Low-carb wrap
- Pepperoni, Cheese, Cucumber, Cottage Cheese
- Chicken Thighs w/ Veggies (ended up having half of a Five Guys bunless burger last night)
- Protein Bar, Yogurt w/ Granola, Apple w/ PB
I have literally been carting around this yogurt for weeks now. I take it to work and don't end up eating it and then it goes back in the fridge at home. I should just not bring it, but it's my insurance that I don't have any reason to go spend money at the store for a snack.

Good morning Daisy and crew!
After bad sleeping on monday, I forgot to turn on my alarm yesterday and slept until 621 this morning...still made it to the office by 730 so I think it worked out wonderfully. Yesterday was so busy, I ONLY had one cup of coffee, didn't eat lunch until 3 and it was chaos...but today will be better.
QOTD - I am for 100+, I usually have 24-36 oz real coffee; usually 16 oz black tea and then make up the rest with water, decaf coffee or decaf/herbal tea. For a change, I do have some of the 0 cal/0 sweetner sparkling waters with flavor (like la criox but the generic version) and I'll pour one of those, let it go flat and drink it later; I really like the cranberry lime flavor and I haven't been able to flavor match that (yet); I love steeping herbs/fruit in water and need to start doing that more.
Menu today:
Menu today:
Coffee, coffee, coffee -- I was so annoyed yesterday with just the ONE coffee....one coffee is like no coffee to be honest!
B - Elli Quark (brownie batter flavor!)
L - 4 oz ever roast deli chicken
D - TBD, dinner out with a colleague
S - L&F
Hope your wednesday and week goes wonderfully!

Good morning,
i was trying to get up early to go to this certain grocery store before therapy but it didn't happened. I'll probably have to go after bible study tonight. They have roast beef and pork on sale bogo free deal and today is double ad day.
Accountability had sugar cookies for dinner then I ate a veggie quiche for dinner instead of the steak and vegetable for dinner.
Qotd I either get 48 oz cup of water or green tea to start sipping on before I eat. Then after eating and waiting I have 64 oz of decaf coffee and try to finish my cup of water or tea. I drink a 32 oz bottle of water at work. If I don't finish all my water during the day then I fini**** up and I try to drink another 48 oz of water if I'm able to. Sometimes at night my stomach doesn't care for water. Maybe I should try hot tea at night.
B ham and cheese omelette and some onion and peppers in it and string cheese
L tuna and cottage cheese
D steak and vegetable
Have a good day
Good morning, everybody.
Does anybody want to do the 100 day burpee challenge? Its one burpee today, two tomorrow, et****il Day 100. The math is easy but the cardio gets difficult.
Marilyn is off to Phoenix this morning. She got up at 4:00 to leave for the airport. I wish that I could say that I was up to cook her breakfast or at least to say goodbye, but I did manage to text her before her plane took off.
I got both boys off to school with lunches packed, and on time, so that is a win. They don't eat breakfast, bring ridiculously small lunches into school (apple, pretzels and water) and then come home ravenous in the afternoon.
QOTD: I start off with a Bai water, Mirlax, and Benefiber and then have a large black decaf from Dunkin Donuts before breakfast. During the day I drink mostly, Decaf coffee, tea, water and Bai water. Most days I drink about 100 -120 ounces. I have been fortunate that even right after surgery I could drink fairly normally.
Breakfast: Omlette
Snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Spinach salad
Snack PB Fit
Dinner: Mahi Burger
Have a great day, all!
