Wha's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
on 3/5/19 3:05 am - GTA, Ontario, Canada
Hi everyone how are you all? Monday seemed to fly by for me. Can you believe we are in the month of March? Where does the time go? We are in a deep freeze here too and getting a snow storm today, yup the joys of winter...
Accountability: great, no extra BLT's
QOTD: Do you celebrate St Patrick's Day? Any Irish peeps in our menu thread? I am a 1/4 Irish (I did the Ancestry DNA thing last year). We don't normally celebrate it but I think we are going out with friends this year to an Irish Pub. One of them is 100% Irish and I can foresee this group getting mighty drunk, as a non drinker I will be the DD and I get to laugh at their drunk asses!

Good morning Daisy and menu crew! Happy Tuesday!
i am going to need a lot of coffee today, like extra coffee. I slept horrible - to bed at 10, right to sleep, up again at 120 and then awake until after 4...feel asleep somewhere between 4 and the alarm going off at 530. Even for me it was a bad night!
i am in back to back meetings from 8 until 4 without even a bio break, it's going to be a long day!
i did get to the grocery store last night so at least I have good food choices for today!
qotd - not really, I tend to avoid going out st Patrick's Day, 4th of July, NYE - essentially any of the days there are a lot of roving boisterous drinks (and that was before WLS, now that I rarely drink, I'm sure my tolerance would be even less!)
eats today -
b - Eli quark
l - 4 oz ever roast, 1 oz cheese
d - 4 oz ever roast, 1 oz cheese
s - light and fit or protein cookies
Coffee cofffe coffee (with half and half) and then some extra cafinated tea I am sure!
and then, hopefully, an early return to the hotel room and a good nights sleep!
have a terrific Tuesday alll!

Good morning menu friends! Its a whopping 7 degrees here in the cornfield in Illinois. We're supposed to begin to slowly warm up today. Lily and I will be happy so we can get longer walks in. We've been taking 2 or 3 short walks each day for a bit over 3 miles total. Accountability yesterday was good. Not quite 8,000 steps and no extra bites at all. Weight today was up a bit at 125 but most likely because I was short on fluids. Goal today is at least 100 ounces. Heres todays food plan B2/3 c earnest eats pro hot cereal L 2/3 c cheesy broccoli soup D 4 ounces crab salad S serving or pork rinds with 1 T salsa. QOTD no St Patricks Day plans here. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices one and all! Time for my first cup of coffer!
Morning all! Sunny but very cold here today. I'd like to get outside at lunch but I think I'll just go to the gym and work on the elliptical or run on the treadmill.
QOTD: My Ancestry DNA says that I'm about 10% Irish but nothing recent. I don't usually celebrate more than trying to wear green. I'd like to make some decorated cookies or cupcakes to bring to work if I have the time. Another excuse for baking and carbs!
Menu:
B: Coffee, DD turkey sausage wrap
S: Chomps
L: probably a Subway chicken salad
S: Chomps, apple
D: steak & asparagus
E: lunch on the elliptical

hi all- still have this cold so opted out of the gym yesterday. still not totally better but way better than the weekend.
accountability was pretty ok but i did eat a square of my DH's pumpkin protein bar i made. it was good. was a box mix with apple sauce instead of oil, 4 medium eggs, water, added pumpkin and two scoops of vanilla protein powder. and he actually liked them.
no I don't party for st pats. but i have been to savannah a few times on st pats. it was an experience for sure. the key is to hold your pee for as long as possible cause you have to use portys ones in the street.
food for today
last of cabbage chicken soup
coffee
coffee
water

not sure what else.
Morning! My eye appointment didn't happen yesterday because my contacts didn't come in. I'm hoping to get a call from them today to go in. Framing is due to start on our house this week! It's super cold though, so we'll see if that delays it.
QOTD: We have never celebrated St. Patrick's Day. One time one of the kids came home and asked why a Leprechaun didn't show up at our house and bring chocolate coins. To which I told them I drew the line beyond the damn Easter Bunny. NO.
My Food:
- (2) Eggs, (1) Slice of Cheese, Low-carb Wrap
- Pepperoni, Cheese, Cucumber
- Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thigh w/ Veggies
- Protein Bar, Yogurt & Granola, Apple w/ PB
I'm hoping to get in a run today, but it won't happen during my work day so maybe right after work.

My kids asked me why we don't celebrate Hanukkah, because at school they had heard of the 12 presents. We are not Jewish!
