Howdy Protein Partners! How is everyone? How was your weekends? Mine was great!
Accountability: excellent, nothing off plan!
QOTD: How confident are you that you will get to your goal weight (if you are not there already), if you just got to your goal weight how confident to you feel you can maintain there? If you have been in maintenance for a while now how confident are you that you can fight off regain? I got to my goal weight in under a year (because I was a "machine" and personally thought going off plan before I got to my goal weight was just a complete waste) and have been in maintenance for over four years now. I am very confident I can maintain at my goal weight, my fear of regain is way stronger than my love of my trigger foods, way stronger!
TSS: 5 yrs, 3 mos

Good morning! Happy Monday! I start the week in Clearwater, woken by thunderclaps that I may have been half convinced were bombs going off!
My weekend was good, late breaking snow storm played havoc with our plans on Saturday night, we only saw one of the movies at the film festival! I was disappointed but given my drive home was twice as long and the main storm hit after I was home, it was the smart choice! We did see Saint Judy and it was phenomenal! I also really enjoyed the Dior exhibition at the art museum.
Qotd - I am just past a year out, I hit goal and then gained .8 lb and have been sitting here for a bit. I am optimistic that I will be able to lose to my second goal and I have the tools and motivation to stay there but I'm not ****y, I know it will be hard work and so I don't know if I'm confident or not - maybe call myself cautiously hopeful and optimistic?
menu today is
b - 4 oz ever roast
l - some kind of yogurt
d - have to hit the grocery store but I'm thinking panino
s - L&F greek
and at some point there will be coffee!
i have some syntrax and a click in my bag if I need them!
havw a great Monday!

Good morning menu friends! We had snow here off and on yesterday but we were cozy here in our camper in the cornfield and I spent the day taking short walks with Lily and knitting. Today is miserably cold--0 right now outside but we are toasty and 73 inside. Today might be even shorter walks with Lily though but tomorrow it is supposed to start warming again. Accountability was spot on yesterday including 100 ounces of liquids which is today's goal too. Weight today is 124.4. Have to get hubby up in a few for work at the distribution center today. QOTD I got to goal in 8 months and maintained easily and seamlessly for nearly 5 years. Then we started traveling with Nomads and these old people like to eat out way too much for me and I quit weighing myself. When I stepped on the scale I had gained 17 pounds!I finally started saying no to eating out and started weighing myself and my food and holding myself accountable. Its a daily struggle but I am 4 pounds away from my best weight and I will get there again. I've learned some valuable lessons and do not plan to do this again. I'll step on the scale every single morning--even when I don't like the number and make the changes needed. Heres todays food B2/3 c earnest eats hot cereal L 2 thin slices deli turkey with 1 T guacamole D 4 oz chicken burger with cheese S meat stick. Have a great day full of amazingly smart and conscious choices all! Time for coffee!
Karen, I am so proud of how you've maintained even with lots of traveling. Way to go!

Good morning! The weekend was awesome. Too short of course, but I enjoyed it.
Saturday was mostly house cleaning but it needed it. Kids are filthy little things. Lol
My family and I drove to a stag and doe, and we had a blast. It was a family event, lots of games for the kids. Excellent time had by all.
On the way there, I fulfilled a goal of mine with this WLS journey. I have wanted to "suit up" and I finally was able to buy one. It's a slim-fit even! LOL....that's something I never thought would be in my closet. Thankfully my wife was there because I'm a lousy shopper to begin with. In the fine clothing world, I'm completely lost.
Menu is good. Protein bar and a small apple for breakfast, shakes if I need them for snacks, a protein packed spinach salad for lunch, and probably a bit of pot roast tonight.
QOTD: I am 2 yrs out, I've been at or below gw since about 10 months. I too went "machine" in the first year. Still kinda doing that because I don't feel much of an emotional connection to food anymore. Is it perfect? Nah. I won't pretend that. But I am keeping it in the forefront of my mind. I'm pretty confident that I can keep it reasonable. Partly because I weigh daily, and I am just always paying attention to it. I don't fear it, but I have a really good plan and really good resources to keep it down or to turn to if regain happens. I expect a little bit; but I'll always fight that. :)
Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.
I'd love to see a pic of you in your suit!
Also what is a stag and doe? Obviously a Canadian thing...

Stag & Doe, not sure if its a "Canadian thing" but it is super popular around here. Its basically a couple who do their "bachelor" parties together as one big party before getting married. Its popular because whole families can attend & kids.

Hi all- I was sick with a cold all weekend. which apparently means nothing sounds good/can't taste and i ate protein bars and drank almond milk for 2.5 days. and I didn't leave the house, which was probably a good idea.
my in person interview went well. we will see- fingers crossed...
