What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers??
Yeah I don't foresee myself repeating the experience.
Im excited for your new adventure as a personal trainer!

Thanks for the encouragement! I was telling my therapist this morning that it really is exciting and a great challenge for me. It will encourage me to stay faithful to being active but most of all I hope to work with obese and post-WLS folks who feel too uncomfortable with a young jock to work with a trainer. My trainer has offered me an internship after I pass the exam and he does cyber as well as in person sessions, which is REALLY exciting! I could work with people in Omaha (lol), California, Canada or next door on snowy days!

Yeeesssss I would love a personal trainer but at this point I do still feel too intimidated by being trained by someone who has never been SMO or probably even overweight, but if I knew there was a trainer around who specializes in people who were/are SMO or post-bariatric I'd sign right up! I feel like you will do great things for a lot of people by doing this!

Good morning :)
I haven't been on this board in forever and everyone is looking so fabulous!! Cassie, I love your hair!! :)
I have mostly been sticking to the Ontario, Canada board when I have time to post. My little nugget is now six months old and she keeps me pretty busy. We have had a long struggle with her not gaining weight which absolutely messes with my mind since I have spent my life trying to lose weight and assumed I would have to be extra careful with my kids.
QOTD: chocolate is a super slippery slope for me which started with the dreaded protein bars. I swore I would never buy chocolate covered almonds because they are my bingey downfall. Alas, during my pregnancy I relaxed a bit too much and now I'm on the struggle bus trying to get back to basics while I'm more than a little tired (a big trigger for me is being tired and making poor eating choices).
My four year surgery followup is tomorrow and my surgiversary is Tuesday.
Breakfast - protein bar
Snack - egg wrap with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, and cheese
Lunch - tbd we are going to a restaurant
Snack - probably none due to lunch
Dinner - unknown.
Snack - SF pudding
All water and vits.
Great to see you here!

Mornin' All!
We (DH, I, and our Turkish adoptee) had a great time last night at a coffee house listening to a wonderful band. They have stuff like that around here pretty much all the time - I really need to get out more at night! Not much on the agenda for today - it's too freaking cold out. Tomorrow, too. It needs to turn into March pretty soon - I'm getting SO tired of this!!
QOTD: I was SUPER committed to my plan the first year after surgery - I was on it probably 99.9% of the time - and I'd planned to be that way for the rest of my life. Ha. Not that things have gotten out of hand (at least 99% of the time), but I'm eating things now that I thought I never would again.
3 years 9 months out today!
B: pumpkin protein pancakes with plain Greek yogurt and 1/3 C apple/cinnamon compote (no added sugar), coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: our Turkish friend is planning to make some egg concoction for us for either lunch or dinner. If he does it for dinner, then probably Everroast chicken and a cheese stick or two for lunch
AS: yogurt or cottage cheese with mango pieces
D: see lunch
ES: same as AS
ex: wasn't planning on it, but maybe I can talk DH and our adoptee into doing some yoga at home later. It's too cold to leave the house!

Cassie, glad you got home safe! Your hair looks great too.

Hi everyone! I'm doing absolutely nothing at the moment and enjoying every second. I will find some motivation to vaccum and put my clothes in the dryer and iron.
Qotd: im not sure if there were promises I made to myself to not do after surgery. I think I focused on things to achieve. Drinking wasn't a biggie for me pre-op, still isn't. I never swore off sweets, I subconsciously think I knew it wasn't realistic and I'd already decided to be more selective with sweets. (Now when I indulge in a sweet its better quality-not convienence store crap). I never even swore off regain, just fear it LOL.

m3:?? Maybe nothing
m4: dinner out (steak) or quesadilla insides
