Amy glad the interviews and the staff who did not get promoted were okay with all the decisions, great job!

Happy anniversary with Rob, what a great idea on going back to the place you met, I love that!

That ice cream flavour idea of yours sounds yummy, you might need to email Ben & Jerry's and get royalties on that idea!

So I get you on the what to do with yourself from the time you get home until Rob gets home. Same with me, hubby gets home anywhere from 30 mins to 60 mins after me. So for me I always have a snack on my commute home from work, almonds or cheese strings/babybel. And once I get home I make myself stay out of the kitchen. So I will walk the dogs, throw in a load of laundry, come here on OH and read but I have to literally physically stay out of the kitchen or I will snack & snack & snack. I actualy prefer to eat later and the reason is I can justify (most days this works) that if I eat dinner at 7pm or 8pm then there is no need for me to have a snack before bed. Its really all mind games with myself. If I eat at 5pm then my brain says to me "you need something in your belly at 8pm," so for me eating later is actually a good thing.

You got this girl!

Good morning,

I had to do work evaluations on daycare kids to see how they are proceeding in their development. I was up till after 2 am. So I didn't get up early to go to the plasma center this morning.

Accountability last night I ate bunch of cookies.

Qotd chocolate ice cream with caramel, peanut butter cups chopped up and marshmallows cream.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

D ribs and broccoli and cheese sauce

Have a good day

Hi my WLS friends! Happy Thursday!

All is well here, other than having no idea where I put my jeans that actually fit. Only the ones which are a size too big made it into my closet here, grrr!

I weighed in at 126.0 this morning. Exercise has been a little low, but my food intake has been fine. I've been avoiding cheese for the past few days - I love it but it is just so awfully caloric, and I can eat it all day every day, it's just so very yum! But if I do that the scale makes sure I understand the cost. So for a while I am not buying any. I find I can use half and half or rich SF flavored creamers in my tea and coffee, along with SF syrup, without the scale freaking out, but cheese is just going to have to be a more of an occasional indulgence than an all day, every day thing - more's the pity! But it's worth it to maintain.

QOTD: Ice cream was my nemesis. I am certain that I put on a good 100 pounds due to ice cream alone. I could go through massive quantities of the stuff, and had zero self control. I didn't even try, I just wallowed! I have had enough ice cream for ten normal lives. So I honestly don't want to have it, really ever again - talk about a slippery slope! With that principle in mind, I think that nightcrawler ice cream with gravel chips, motor oil swirls, and spider egg sprinkles would be perfect. I could avoid that forever, no problem!

FIrst: tea - 3 20-ounce mugs

B: meatloaf

L: ham

D: eggs, ham, chives, onion

Enjoy your Thursdays, everyone!

Good to see you back, Cara!!

Your description of the new icecream flavor made me laugh. Send some my way because I'm STILL tempted by icecream. Even though I, like yourself, have eaten my weight in icecream 10 times over.

It's the best - and the worst! I recognize that I just have to avoid it altogether. It's like a really bad boyfriend who you know is awful, but who knows all of your buttons and who has totally gotten under your skin. Thankfully there are lots of other satisfying things to eat!

Cara I think having jeans that are too big in your closet is a good thing! LOL LOL

I struggle mentally with cheese as well. I LOVE LOVE LOVE cheese but you are so right its so calorie dense that I struggle with giving up all those calories for a tiny bit of cheese! UGH

Smart lady on your ice cream idea, that is for sure a deterrent!!
