You do say that a lot Hillary but that's okay if you are busy, you are busy LOL LOL
Fingers & toes crossed for all these interviews you are having that one of them works out! I despise interviews and would probably fail miserably if I had to do one now!
How did I forget marshmallows! I would so add tons of either piece of marshmallow or the marshmallow creme in my made up ice cream.
Sending you warm thoughts as you prepare for your interview! I hope it goes well!

Morning everyone! Yeah! We've made it to Thursday...almost the weekend!
Today is a big day for me...it's the 2nd anniversary of my RNY. I hope to do a separate post so I'll keep it short here, but life is so different now and I want to thank ALL of you for being a part of my journey. OH and the friends that I've made here have made such a difference!
Yesterday I had my 2 year appointment with my surgeon and he is generally pleased with me. He still says that almost all of his clients regain weight and that I could/should gain 10-20 pounds. I just smile and say that I plan to work hard not to right now. I am grateful to him for being part of my life change, but his follow-up program is really lacking and I've had to take personal responsibility to do that work myself. My weight is pretty stable and I am staying about 5 pounds below my goal weight but it certainly isn't magic.
In other news, my 6-month training detail is over on Friday and I will shift gears again. I am pleased that I will get to continue working with one of my wonderful trainees for at least a few more months (part-time) and I will also be doing some QA and training with another colleague who needs some refresher training. I am also going to be working on a team with a group of people who I really do respect and who will help my days to be more positive. And finally, I get my 2nd telework day back! Yippee!
And one other thing...my trainer, who I have been working with since July, has asked me to consider getting my personal trainer certification and working for him part time. At almost 52 and after a life time of being sick and sedentary and MO/SMO, I feel rather inadequate at athletic pursuits. I'd love to have your feedback on whether you think it is worth the effort to get certified and do this.\
Okay, I've been writing this for an hour now (and getting interrupted!).
Accountability: there was a cookie and a corn muffin yesterday...gotta get a new handle on the carbs!
Menu:
B: coffee, DD turkey sausage wake-up wrap
S: Chomps
L: probably will grab a chicken salad from Subway between classes and meetings
S: Chomps, apple
D: hoping for fish tacos!
E: it'll be hard to squeeze a walk in at lunch but I need to get out before the next Arctic Blast hits!

Congrats on your two years Janet! Man times has flown by!
I call BS on what you surgeon said that you should gain weight. NOPE. You look and feel amazing at this weight so why change it. And who knows down the road if you have some regain of your own. So "nod & smile."
Yay for your telework day back! In my area here in Ontario teleworking is not a big thing. I am so jealous of so many of you who either work from home or get telework days per week. Not the case here, although more companies are starting to do it, its not common.
Since you asked for our opinions on you taking on PT personal training I will share with you my thoughts. So my first thought is Hell yes do it! You love your trainer, you love the work out and you like to be with people. But I am hesitant to say do it since you have a lot going on in your personal life with your wife and her challenges. I guess if you feel you can "fit it all in" and be able to take care of you, take care of your wife, and nothing will fall behind then go for it. I feel like you would make an excellent trainer because you know BOTH sides of obesity and you can relate to a wide variety of clients. Just my two cents.
mmmmm fish tacos - LOVE them, enjoy! Also we are getting the arctic blast here too so stay warm.
