What is on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
Helllooo Daisy and menu pals! Omg here in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia), they are RIDICULOUSLY dramatic. Every storm is going to be insane...and we get three inches of snow. Until they act like it will be flurries and we get seven inches. I have no doubt it's hard to predict clouds and weather movement but come on. I know they do it to get more viewers.
QOTD: omg if I could quit my job and just travel the world and learn languages, I would be in heaven. I'm fluent in Spanish (studied it all through high school and college, and spent a semester in Spain). I speak some German from working in German companies most of my career. And I speak some Czech from having lived in Prague for a year, though I don't EVER use it so at this point it's likely gone! I think that's so cool that you have picked up some Urdu and Punjabi along with Hindi!
I made it to the store for my Ever Roast chicken! It was a loooong 3 days without it!
b: coffee with half and half, Ever Roast chicken and havarti with herbs and spices
l: leftover turkey burger with havarti, mayo, ketchup, mustard
s: mini peppers with Greek yogurt and ranch seasoning (I cut them up yesterday and never had time for them)
d: Kris is grilling salmon and potatoes for himself but I got no ideas...will come up with something. Maybe shrimp since he doesn't like them much.
E: kickbox cardio! This instructor has an insane amount of energy. I really like this class. Spin last night was killer. In a good way.
I have a last minute day trip to NYC tomorrow for work. 6:30 am train up, 4 pm train back. No time to stay and have fun or even have a good meal or meet up with Cynthia. Sad sad face :(
I thought that Prague was an amazing, beautiful city. I went to a black tie dinner at Prague Castle and it was such a highlight. There was a waiter for just about everybody in the room and they all came out in formation and served.

Good morning my friends! I'm just back from the clinic from my morning monitoring, now hanging out a bit before going into work a little late as I have an evening meeting. When it rains it pours - I'll go two or three weeks with no evening work engagements, then have multiple in one week and it's annoying!
QOTD: Wow, Daze, I had no idea you're multi-lingual, that's awesome! Theoretically I speak Italian, but these days I rarely use it (as in it's probably been 2 years since I've uttered a word of Italian).
TSS: not quite 5 years
B: coffee with half and half, egg cups
S: more coffee and turkey sticks
L: egg salad on a Fiber One wrap
S: almonds and apples
D: more leftover balsamic pork
S: PB pretzels and Thin Mints
Must. stay. awake.

Theoretically? I'm intrigued. Please explain.

"Theoretically" because I never have the opportunity to use it these days. I'm sure it would come back to me fairly easily, but at the moment I can't do much more than order a cafe or find the restrooms!
I learned Italian while spending my senior year of high school in Catania, then went on to study in college and spent a semester in Florence and Rome.
