Aww, thanks, Beth! I drink hot tea all day long, and start before breakfast with three 20-ounce mugs! I usually am fairly warm but he fluids keep me happy and help me feel full. Location-wise, I am in a better place even though it is still not feeling as stable as it needs to. But at least I'm (literally) out from under that unwell person. I can only go up from there!
Its good to see you back Cara, and I'm glad to hear you are in a safe place.

Hello everyone,
Life has been very busy. This last payday, we ended up spending $280 on our dog, which we had not been expecting. So, until next Friday, we are/have been eating at home and I've been making our bread so the carb counts for me have been higher. Good news is that the Dexcom (continuous glucose monitor for diabetes) has helped me keep my blood sugars low despite the increased carb load. :) I'm sure my A1C will be in goal when it gets tested next time! It looks like my last A1C was 1/18, so still some time for that.
Speaking of surgery goals, I went to my pre-sleep study initial consult on the 21st. I have my sleep study scheduled for March 8th! After my sleep study (and good A1C result), I can move on to pre-surgery processes, such as the surgery consult.
QOTD: Yes, I am looking forward to summer. It is quite mild where I live and the summers are very enjoyable. Additionally, I am hoping to get my surgery this summer!
