Good morning~I had such a good, non-stop busy day yesterday that by the time I finally got to bed it felt so fabulous I was out 3 seconds later. Back at it today! One nice thing about moving was getting rid of all kinds of old crap, but now we need a bunch of new crap! Curtains, rugs, bedding, towels, dishes, pots, plants - you name it's happening!
QOTD - Yes, now that I'm cold all the time I am really looking forward to summer!! It's a dry heat here and feels so good. I never used to feel that way when I was overweight - I was miserable in heat - dry or humid. I hate sweating.
Accountability - I was so busy I didn't eat breakfast then I got snacky after work/before dinner and had a few handfuls of pork rinds and almonds but skipped my evening snack
2 years 3 mo - 174.4
b- coffee x 3, L&F greek yogurt
l- chicken breast and cesar salad
d- pot roast w/mushrooms and gravy
es - L&F greek Yogurt
v/l - on track
Have a great day!

Hello my RnY kindred! I'm glad to read all of your updates, and to be posting again myself following my horror of a move.
Lots of things are going on here, more than I can really post, but at least I'm out of the old place and away from my seriously aggressive, mentally unwell landlady (who actually became violent at the end). So my life is calmer, thank God.
We've had a good deal of snow over the past 10 days, but much of it has melted off. I definitely got my dose of winter this year (I had missed it), and I'm ready for spring!
I weighed in at 127.0 again this morning. I like that number well enough, though I'd still like to be 125. It's doable and I will in fact do it even though to be honest at this point it's not a terribly big deal to me. I got my new driver's license a couple of months ago and for the first time in my life I weigh less than what it says I do (130), pretty neat. I definitely should have said 125 instead!
I'm not at all interested in eating off plan and am happy to be this size, so thankfully maintenance thus far has been smooth at 20.5 months out. I have however bought more clothes - Talbots had a gigantic sale and I repopulated my closet. Macy's and Nordstrom contributed too. Everything is beautiful and flattering and the prices were unbeatable, and I am truly finally done. It still feels bizarre to be riffling through the very smallest side of the size racks rather than at the opposite end. Who could have imagined that I'd be wearing these mini sizes? Prior to a December east coast trip a few years ago, I remember buying 3 winter coats online in the largest size offered - 3X - and sending all of them back (I would only have kept one, and was just hoping at least one would fit decently). I just looked so hideous in them all, plus I could barely get them buttoned. I looked like a lumbering bear! Only not, by far, as elegant. Now when I shop at that same store I am in the very smallest size they offer and everything fits. I may not like a garment, but size is not the reason why it doesn't suit me. This size transformation still kind of shocks me, and every time it comes up, it is cause for a little shot of joy. Physically, I have recovered myself. I may need plastics, but I'm where I want to be.
Accountability: Good. Even good clothes shopping-wise, as long as I resist further additions.
QOTD: Yes, I'm looking forward to summer. Summers here are halcyon, golden, legendary! My very favorite seasons are spring and fall, especially fall, but summers here are gorgeous. (I have reservations about winters up here though - that persistent, low, dark cloud cover is depressing.) Plus my radiant Leo son was born in July and my wonderful Leo brother in August, so I love summer for those birthdays alone even if I disliked it otherwise, which I don't. It's not too humid up here, which is also how I like it.
First: Tea! Tea. And more tea!
B: Trader Joe's Italian style turkey meatloaf
L: ham
D: Everroast chicken, some sort of green vegetable
Have fun today, my friends!

Sorry to hear about your horror of a move but glad you are okay and away from that loony lady! Hopefully you have found or will find your perfect home asap! I have traded in my clothes shopping for housewares shopping! It's not the same but still, I am enjoying it very much!

I love housewares shopping too, and furniture shopping for that matter! I guess I just enjoy shopping, period. And I actually could do with a new car, while we're on the topic! I'm so glad that you're in a beautiful new spot, Amy, and am sure you will make your home very beautiful! Are you in SLO?

I love what you wrote about clothes shopping. Exactly what I think when I am shopping but I am not an eloquent writer like you. I drank over 32 ounces of decaf hot tea today too keep myself warm I am so glad it counts as part of my fluids! Sorry to hear about the awful landlord lady and glad you are in a safer place now.
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
