What is on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
Oh I have a love/hate relationship with my foam roller. I am still trying to heal my hamstring from my 1/2 at the beginning of the month. Glad you hit the treadmill today as it might help you from getting stiff. I usually am more sore day 2/3 after.
Yeah, I have never ran in a crowd like a Disney run...it must be crazy!!
We should capture these questions and start a thread to discuss. Lots of great topics (though some we address already).

Good afternoon everyone - late post for me but I am here!
Daisy, what a great QOTD and what an amazing idea to create a post with them for responses! You are such a great support to all of us here!
My weekend was good; ended up not driving east to my dads, he had a cold he didn't want to share and the roads weren't great in the morning so I had a fairly relaxed Saturday and then yesterday ran a bunch of errands before our oscar party. It was a small but fun group. I did ok at the snacks (and several people were on keto so lots of protein options) but cleaning up, I had a few bits of the left over tarts and macaroons and that didn't go so well.
QOTD - how did you make the switch from eating a thing (ie, deli meat, or cheese or a yogurt) to eating meals.
I'm so impressed with all the menus that are full meals and am very aware that mine tend to be a single item or two items if you count deli meat and cheese separately. I flash back quite bit to my first (awful) nutritionist telling me that if you don't have three things, it's a snack not a meal -- I don't believe that but I do wish I was brave enough to add a bit more to my meals. Does that make sense?
Menu today has been coffee + half and half, water
B - 4 oz fage 0% yogurt with 2 SF pb cookies crumbled in it
L - 4 oz ever roast deli meat
D - 4 oz left over chicken breast
S - frozen L&F greek after pilates
EX - pilates class tonight
V - on track
Fluid - 100 goal in progess
Have a great monday all!

Having just had my 10 year surgiversary I'll pop in here and say yes,yes yes! Protein first, low carb. I am able to eat a little higher carb now. I still measure, weigh and keep a food diary. I have found that keeping an actual handwritten food log makes me and keeps me more aware of what I'm consuming. I have to look up calories, carbs and protein in each item, rather than having an app do it for me. Its more work, but I'm so used to it, that it's become second nature.
Great question and I'm looking forward to see what other vets have to say.

QOTD- How do you get past diet fatigue? I'm so tired of it all, I haven't been logging my food and I know I need to but it is really hard to make myself do it. Do you just get to a point where you don't care if you get to your goal? I ask myself if I really need to get there? What if I didn't would it be OK?
I've been MIA for a few days. Snow on Monday so I worked from home, white knuckle driver so I don't drive in it if possible.
Accountability has been crap! Still stressing about my biopsy coming up on Thursday. Worried if it was going to snow etc etc... Sleep has been awful, thank God for lunesta, just worried about getting more from my PCP.
