THAT. FRIDGE. Omg, serious appliance envy. I absolutely adore the kitchen in my new house (well, just coming up on a year there so not that new anymore), except for the fridge. It's a dreaded side-by-side thing and I hate it! I can't fit ANYTHING! I keep hoping it will break down so I can justify getting a new one, but no such luck for now...

I went back and forth on this one..the counter depth fridge is smaller and more $ -- so it's more money for less! But it looks good and I'm a huge fan of the freezer on the bottom/double doors.

happy friday everyone!
I am hoping today goes by quickly...I have a lot I want to get done this weekend and the sooner this work day is over, the sooner I can start doing things lol.
We have Story's dance class in the morning, then I was thinking about going to the monthly support group meeting at 10:30...I've gone a handful of times but not sure if I am getting much out of it...there are usually so many people there it feels impersonal and I feel like the same 4 or 5 people always take up all the time and they've all been going so long that they've formed cliques that are hard to break through to make new friends.
I might give it another try anyway though. still hoping to meet some WLS friends I can hang out with in real life :)
I have a hair appointment at 12:15 so I can look pretty for my vacation....still not 100% sure what I want to do so I might just get a trim and color touch-up.
QOTD: for me it totally varies day to day. I seem to like savory mixed with sweet, which is probably why peanut butter is my weakness. It's definitely easy to eat too many calories worth of pb...my favorite snack pre-wls was peanut butter and pretzels. I still have some once in a while now but obviously not NEAR the volume I would eat before. I was definitely a volume/binge eater.
Morning: coffee w/splash of vanilla PP, then I stopped at Dunkin for an iced coffee on my way to work.
B: 1/2C cottage cheese & 5 strawberries
L: leftover turkey sausage/kale/sweet potatoes
S: L&F greek yogurt (if I want it)
D:Turkey taco salad
I finally got my new license in the mail--old pic is from about 3 years ago. I had no idea they don't let you wear glasses in your pic anymore. I am so used to wearing mine, I feel like I don't look like myself without them LOL

Such an amazing change! Here too they said you can't wear glasses anymore -- my old license was from pre-lasik and between the no glasses and the weight lost, they flagged my photo as possible fraud...which absolutely delighted me, lol.

Hi everyone,
I started work at 4am and finished up for the day around 4:15pm but on call 24/7. Fun is! Good thing I love my job. I really need to take some time off though.
QOTD: PIZZA!!!!!! I manage to keep myself away from it successfully. Since surgery I've only had a couple bites of pizza. I crave savory for the most part. Every once in a while I crave a piece of chocolate but I'm good with just one bite and done.
I haven't had much of an appetite for most of the day but I think I'll eat a decent dinner tonight.
B: 3oz turkey breast
L: 1/2oz prosciutto, 1 1/2oz turkey breast roll up
D:? Not sure yet...maybe seared tuna or a salad with some chicken breast, broccoli rabe.
