What is on your menu today (Wednesday) RNYers?
I am always trying to keep my menu fresh for Kris and I...maybe grilled halloumi cheese should go in the rotation! I feel like we eat SO much chicken, turkey and salmon...I have to mix it up.
The kids LOVE having 3 rows. From day 1, Cyara (16) takes the way back (2 tiny seats but she is tiny) and then the other two (8 and 12) take the second row. They don't push each other and argue about who has to shift over so the other one can fasten their seatbelt lol! They love the SUV and hate Norbert. I tell them that one day they will understand how amazing it is to have a paid off car, and not complain about how it's cramped/old/doesn't have sat radio etc ha ha.
A heated steering wheel would be divine! I think the SUV has that, but I seriously so rarely drive it! What's funny is that Kris drives 100% of the time when we are here (home) and I drive 100% of the time when we are abroad. We just sort of settled into that routine and it works for us.
When we meet up in the States, I will make sure wherever we are has Ever Roast chicken and if not, I will bring it in a cooler!
Thanks for worrying about me but I will be fine I am going to leave about 1 pm. I will drive slowly!
Norbert - Love it!!! LOL

Travel safe...and I am pretty jealous of the new car 3 times a year; I get my "variety" by trying to never get the same rental car each time, lol. I can't imagine a stick shift anywhere on the east coast -- I can barely drive one here on the flats/rural areas!

Good morning everyone. I am thankful it is only raining here. I am home today. My goal is to deep clean my room and go through my closet and dresser. I have so many things that I don't wear and it's just taking up space.
I don't think the therapist that I was so hopeful about is going to work. I talked to him yesterday on the phone and there is just something about him that I don't care for. So, the search continues!
QOTD- I drive a 2017 Mazda 3 hatchback. It's a 6 speed and I love it. It is very peppy and fun to drive.
Food for today-
Lots and lots of water and hot tea

Good morning!
snow day today so I'm working from home. My car is in the shop to investigate why my battery keeps dying. I have jerky in my dehydrator, and laundry to do while I work.
Qotd: I drive a little Hyundai Accent, and it's been a good little car! My gas mileage is amazing, and it's gotten around pretty well in the snow too. I'd buy another, but a newer model with more bells and whistles ;) I had a remote start installed and I suspect it's causing my dead battery problems, so I'd rather my next car already have it included so I don't have to mess with it! Also, DH's vehicle has heated seats. You don't realize you need THAT until you've had it!
Breakfast: scrambled egg with peppers and onion, two sausage links
lunch: leftover pork roast
dinner: chili lime chicken burgers (I made a trip to Trader Joe's Monday!)
