Good morning,Daisy and menu friends. Up way too early as I have a very busy day. Our chrch denomination (United Methodist) is having a special assembly to determine the future path of the church worldwide in St Louis. Hubby and I are working in the hospitality room a t the airport with the director of the distribution center where we work passing out donated coats and gloves etc. to foreign delegates who may not have Illinois weight winter gear. This is very much out of my introverted comfort zone but will be interesting to meet people from all around the world. If you pray keep this all lifted up that God's will would reign supreme and we people would get out of His way and be the church He calls us to be. Accountability great as I was busy all day and weight 124.8. QOTD red Chevy Colorado. I love it and it is the vehicle we tow behind our RV when do our trips. Heres food for today and its packed to go with B1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L slice deli ham slice of provolone cheese D same as L I also brought a pack of peanut butter crackers in case more is needed and lots of drinks. Have a great day everyone and make smart choices! Time for coffee!

Good morning all! A snow storm is in the forecast for the day - with heavy snow turning to sleet and freezing rain and finally rain. Yuck! Based on the timing, I decided to just close the library. But of course I'm the boss, so I have a "must do" meeting this morning at 8:30 and a few calls... nonetheless, I'll be home by 10:30 and back in leggings, so I shouldn't complain too much.

Day 1 of stims was fine yesterday, thanks for the love. Tiredness and headache seem to be the only side effects so far, so fingers crossed!

QOTD: I drive a little silver Fit that I love. I especially loved it when I still lived in South Philly and could fit it into the tiniest of parking spots. But it's a 2009 and doesn't have the bells and whistles like heated seats. 2 years ago we traded in DH's car and got a slick little Honda HRV (a very small SUV). The agreement was he'd get it until I had a baby and then I'd get it since I'd be the primary one toting the kid around. Well...he's gotten to keep the car a lot longer than anticipated and I've struck a deal that I get it soon because I have to drive to the fertility clinic a million times over the next 2 months and I should get to be as comfortable as possible LOL.

TSS: 4 years, 11 months

B: coffee with half and half, egg cups

S: cottage cheese

L: rotisserie chicken, string cheese

S: apple and almonds

D: the SW chicken we were supposed to eat last night but turns out I had forgotten to take out of the freezer - oops!

S: PB pretzels

Being home all day might prove to be a bit of a challenge, but I've got my plan in place and am feeling good!

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. Cold here again this morning - 9 , yuck. I am officially over it, though the sunrises above the Mountains of VT are beautiful this time of year, 59 days until our Western Caribbean Cruise. ( Who is counting..LOL)

Accountability was good.

QOTD - I drive a 2018 Ford F150 Supercab Truck. Love it. I have a daily 3 miles round trip to work so it makes sense for me to have a truck again. So convenient when I am working in the yard trimming shrubs, grass clippings, and is great for towing our pop up camper and camping supplies.

B - Scrambled eggs, cheese and bacon.

L - Salami and cheese

S - cukes and ranch

D - left over baked pork chops

E - Stair climber night at the gym.

Hello All,

It's a snow day here in northern Maryland but not one flake has fallen from the sky! Even DH is off today. Snow to freezing rain and then finally rain to wash this mess all away. I forgot to add that our heater only needed a tube cleaned! Nothing major and I am so thankful. God takes care of us, that is for sure!

We went to support group last night. I really don't enjoy it and feel like that will be the last one. The speaker was our surgeon and she was good but...

QOTD: I drive a Dodge Journey. I like it. It is a car and gets me from point A to point B. I don't get excited about cars/trucks, never have.

TSS 1 year and 1-month/weight today is 161

B: coffee first, a glass of milk with vitamins, DH requested baked ham, cheese, spinach, egg and tomato roll ups for breakfast (and I have all of the ingredients!)

MS: 3 ounces ever roast chicken (that stuff is seriously good - thanks for the suggestion)

L: 3 ounces of ever roast chicken on a little bit of chopped romaine lettuce, onion, pepper and tomato with a splash of EVOO and red wine vinegar

AS: PP chocolate shake

D: homemade chicken parm with zoodles

All vitamins and goal of 120+ liquids

Lots of cooking today but also walking on the treadmill every hour on the hour until I get to 10,000 steps, working on the basement for an hour and of course checking in here on OH.

Do what you can to make it a great day!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

The boars head ever roast chicken fan club is growing!

I am in MD just east of DC, and the snow is coming down...so it must be headed your way...it's very pretty, but of course today is the day I have to drive to my office near Dulles airport. Should be interesting.

I also quit going to my surgeon's support group. It's mandatory to go a few times before surgery, and it's literally just pre-op patients asking things like "Will I still be able to have my grandma's German Chocolate Cake" or "I'm not gonna give up my orange soda!". I thought maybe I could be the moderately successful post-op person giving advice, but it's too frustrating and I never felt like anyone cared anyway lol. At least we have this online forum!
