Good morning menu friends! Lily and I have our 4 miles in already. I don't think we'll get a second walk in as I'm busy all afternoon and evening but there will be many steps involved in the busyness so I should be fine stepwise. Heres the eats for today B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L2/3 c cheesy broccoli soup D unsure as may be eating while traveling--I'll take some deli chicken and cheese along just in case where hubby stops has poor choices. S sm apple 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day full of best choices everyone! Time for coffee!

Good Morning! Daisy, I am so incredibly sorry that you are still in pain. I hope that the meds/plan the specialist has you on give you relief. I just imagine how you are dealing with the constant pain.

Work is super stressful right now and I am trying to stay above water.

Accountability: See above, I could use work stress as the reason but I will just own it that I had a bad snack attack last night.

QOTD: My sister is not doing it just for weight loss but for inflammation issues, I can't remember exactly the name of her diet but it has something to do with removing leptin. Her diet is super restrictive right now but I guess after 30 days it doesn't have to be so much so.

Time since surgery: 4 years 6 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Simply protein chips, carbmaster yogurt and SF decaf almond milk lattes this evening

D: BBQ chicken salad, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1286 Protein:140 Carbs:92 Fat:43

Have a great one!

Daisy, glad to see you back and hopefully the specialist and plan will help you tremendously and immediately! Fingers and toes crossed for you!

QOTD - yes, I try not to offer any unsolicited advice because I was on the same "try everything" bandwagon for years and had to have surgery to break the pattern. One of my friends has asked if she would be a good candidate for WLS so I've shared my experience with her but only after she asked. There are no easy ways for weight loss/maintenance for anyone, are there?

Accountability -- yesterday sucked. I was hungry all day, I ate all the food I brought to work before lunch time then went home and ate more. It was all high protein but too much; I finally locked myself in my bedroom and said no more -- but by then I was over everything. I spent some time before bed thinking about it and I think it was diet fatigue because of not cooking because of not having the fridge, etc, etc -- all excuses but I can be more aware today and that darn fridge better be delivered tomorrow.

Today, I woke up hungry but ate breakfast before coffee and that has helped..but then I had the coffee w/half and half X3 and now on to tea.

B - 5 oz ever roast, 1 slice cheese

L - I picked up the cinnamon raison Carb master cottage cheese to try

d - 4 oz ever roast

S - L&F greek

I can relate to the diet fatigue and I don't even have the excuse of no fridge. Some days I just don't wanna be bothered but as we all know that's not a good mindset. So onward and downward, my friend! We can do this and we WILL do this.

Good afternoon,

I had to take a friend to a doctor appointment, she's been coughing for two weeks. She took me out for breakfast. Then to two stores.

My acid reflux has returned at night time again so I had a prescription at the pharmacy so I got it filled. Hopefully tonight it will be better.

Yesterday I ate cottage cheese and a little bit of banana at work since I ate a late breakfast. Then last night I had a single serve bag of baked potato chips.

B half of meat lovers omelette and raisin toast

L tuna and cottage cheese

D roast beef and a vegetable

Have a good day

Qotd I have a friend that is always asking if she can have this or that but she doesn't listen to what I say. Finally I say it's up to you if you want it unless it affects me.

QOTD- Someone I work with is always dieting, he eats side salads from Mcdonalds with ranch dressing and wheat thins for lunch every day. I try to steer him towards more protein, but he doesn't appear to be interested. He's lost 140lbs from when he had heart attack and open heart surgery but still needs to lose at least 40+ more. I try not to preach, but it is hard to watch someone making such poor food choices.

The results of the mammogram is that I have to get a biopsy on the 28th. Not looking forward to it, as I've had too many of them. This one will be mammogram guided, so that is different. It's done with a local, and should only take 1-1/2 hours. Having had breast cancer before I really hope it isn't back, I'm having a hard time dealing with this, I let it get to me. I don't want to have to go through this again.

Accountability sucked yesterday, but I'll get back on track today.

Have a great day everyone!
