Stimulation phase of IVF sounds super exciting! I have my fingers, toes, arms & legs crossed for lots of stimulation for you!!! (that doesn't sound right but you get the point right ) I hope you didn't get too much side effects!

I find such a difference when I am well hydrated! I swear I am less hungry. It might be psycho-somatic or maybe it really does work but for sure I have to be well hydrated to feel "good."

I also have a standing desk at work. Its legit hard to stand all day! I must admit I don't use it a lot but when I do I do 10-15 min stands at a time. If I try to stand longer I know that I will get discouraged and stop completely, so good for you!!

Hope you got to aqua Zumba, I love water aerobics! My local gym only has water aerobics during the day from 9am - 10am. Come on people not all of us are retired or work from home!

Have a lot of business meetings this week and need to work on getting myself up to speed in some of my work endeavors. Going to my home office- Starbucks in a few.

B: latte, overnight oats and protein

L: turkey and lite Swiss, sugar snap peas, apple

D Shrimp egg roll in a bowl

S: Trying to keep it to just protein drink and coffee today. See if that shifts the scale.

Thanks Cynthia for the love, you are 100% right, its so hard to eat "right" when you feel like crap. And when I say feel like crap that is physical pain, mental pain etc.

One of these days I need to try the "egg roll in a bowl" its sounds so delicious!

I see your evening snack is protein drink/coffee. Evenings are my SUPER HARD time! Its when I want snack myself back up to almost 300lbs! I could honestly fast all day but come 7pm look out I am a snack monster.

I cannot go to sleep with nothing in my stomach but food doesn't really sit well... so some type of liquid protein hot or cold works.

G'morning Daisy & Menu peeps!

Oh dear, Daisy, I am so sorry. The fact that your meds might have actually triggered your migraines is a doozy! How can the PCP not have known? I would be so mad. I hope this new line of treatment works.

Long weekend is over and back to normal, thank god. I posted yesterday that I had some minefields to navigate due to bday celebrations but I did OK, not great but OK.

QOTD: always friends around me who are dieting. Most don't need to lose more than 15-20 lbs but consistency is the culprit. They stick to it for a week or so and then they give up. I was like that too so I can't blame them. I just try and be a support and also shate with them some of my experience and what I do. But I never judge nor give my opinion if not asked, because I know how it feels when you are struggling with your weight.

L: chicken fajita (Trader joe's)

S: frozen Greek yogurt w/SF syrup (thanks to Kelly for this idea. It has become my favorite dessert)

good morning everyone!

it's been a few days since i've checked in, but it's been kinda hectic...Friday I took the day off so we could take a trip downtown to the Shedd Aquarium...well, it was an hour and a half drive, and when we got there, finally got inside and Story kept telling us that she didnt feel good and crying that her tummy hurt...she begged us to bring her home. it was soooo sad...she LOVES the aquarium but she was miserable...so we ended up leaving pretty much 30 mins after we got there. She was so upset she forgot to bring a stuffed animal with her to snuggle so I took her to the gift shop to pick one out while DH went to get the car...we got about 10 minutes onto the highway before she just puked ALL OVER herself...then proceeded to fall asleep. We didnt even have anywhere to pull over to clean her off til we got closer to home, so probably a good thing she passed out...but it was soo miserable. we plopped her in the tub as soon as we got home and she was better for a while but still didnt want to eat. she had some applesauce about 3pm and then threw up again 30 mins later.
thankfully it seems to have only been that one day...she does have a nasty cold as well (which I caught too) but it kind of sucked that she had to be so sick on our Aquarium day.
I am glad we will be going to AZ in 2 weeks and planning a trip to the aquarium there so hopefully it will make up for it!

Yesterday I was filling in at work for my coworker who was out of the office so I didn't have any time to pop on to post or read, but I am back at my own desk today and hopefully can catch up on everything by this afternoon.

QOTD: I think the one person in my life that is always trying to lose weight is my Dad. After I had my surgery last year, I introduced him to MFP and he has been tracking his food/calories and my sister got him a fitbit for christmas, and he's been going for walks every day to try to get some exercise. I think for the first time, he has actually adapted a lifestyle change and has successfully lost about 25 lbs (he has about 15-20 more to go). I am so happy for him. He retired about a year and a half ago and I think he really just wants to be healthy so he can enjoy his retirement and his grand kids.

L: parmesan shrimp & spaghetti squash

D: pork fried cauliflower rice

lately I've found if I break up my food a bit more throughout the day it stops me from wanting to graze or grab an extra snack at night....so far so good! I dropped the 3lbs I had gained 2 weeks ago, and hoping it keeps going that direction!

So sorry Story was sick (and that you caught the cold too!).

When you say the aquarium in AZ, do you mean the Dolphinarium in Scottsdale by chance? They closed (at least temporarily) right before I moved because they lost 3 dolphins in 16 months which is crazy. I'm not sure when/if they have reopened so double check that (if it was the target location).

Do you make your own banana bread?

i'm not sure where the aquarium is to be honest, but I think it's in Phoenix? My parents planned that day, they took my sister and her kids there last year so I hope it's not closed! they said there is a butterfly garden sanctuary type place attached to it too...
and Yes i make my own banana bread and I think I finally perfected the recipe! LOL...I am going to post it under Sheila's comment since she wanted it too!
