HELP - Struggling With Peripheral Neuropathy
First - I'm so very sorry for the loss and struggles you have faced and are facing.
When I saw the "NittanyLion" name I wondered where you were located in PA. I lived in Lancaster County for about 8 years, now living in MI. I had my surgery at Barix in Langhorne in 2009 so coming up on 10 years
Your blood work will tell a lot of the story about whether your neuropathy is related in any way to your RNY surgery or not. If I can offer a little bit of wisdom (also at age 63) I'd just say that our minds can tend to run out ahead of us in difficult times, so just try to take it a step at a time and catch your breath when you can. Please let us know how things turn out.
PS. I'm back here after a fairly long absence, looking for encouragement to lose about 25 lbs put on during my mom's extended illness, caring for her, and ultimately passing away.
