What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?
good morning! Up early on a Sunday because my feline Demi Goddess needed breakfast URGENTLY! We stayed up late watching Bohemian Rhapsody, and earlier yesterday went to the theater to see Isn't It Romantic. That was hilarious! My friend who was staying with us went to the gym with me, but left after Bohemian rhapsody because she was worried she'd be stuck in Omaha with the snow if she didn't.
no plans today except laundry and hopefully finishing a book I've been slowly reading. It's been snowing all night, so I'll likely stay in except to go shovel the walks.
Qotd: what's your favorite snowed-in thing to do? Reading and drinking coffee are mine, but sometimes I'll work on an arts and crafts project if I don't feel like reading.
Breakfast: coffee with premier
lunch: salad with 3 oz diced chicken
dinner: turkey burger

Good morning menu friends! No snow here today just cloudy. Lily and I will walk at the park after lunch and get our 4 miles in. Then before I start supper I'll do another 1.2 miles probably by myself to give her leg a rest.. She did fine yesterday and refused to slow down any even when she started to tire. QOTD favorite snowed in activities are the same as my I refuse to snack activities--coffee and knitting. Accountability good both step and foodwise and weight at 125.6. Had 100ounces fluids and that's the goal for today too. Heres the food B2/3c earnest eats hot cereal L 2/3 cbroccoli soup D chicken fajita mix S sm apple 1 T peanut butter. Have a good day full of smart and conscious choices everyone! Coffee is done!
Mornin' Sunday Peeps!
It's snowing here in southern Wisconsin, too. It looks beautiful from my bedroom window, but I hate the thought of being stuck inside yet again. We had our Turkish friend stay over night here last night because we gabbed until pretty late - now I'm thinking we may not be able to take him to his house until tomorrow - but that's fine - as long as HE'S OK with it!
we had a great time yesterday making and eating Turkish food. I didn't go crazy, but at the same time, I went way over my daily calorie allotment (I can thank the borek (similar to spanakopita) and ice cream for that). We'll be eating leftovers today (and probably a big chunk of this week), but I'll skip those two dishes!
QOTD: I usually end up playing more on my laptop (spending way more time than usual on Facebook, news sites, looking up stuff, doing online crossword puzzles, etc). I have a list of house projects that need to be done that would be great to do while I'm holed up in the house due to snow, but playing online is much more appealing...
3 years 8 months out:
B: three protein pumpkin pancakes topped with 1/2 C plain Greek yogurt and 1/2 C homemade apple/cinnamon compote (no sugar added), coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: cup of (Turkish) red lentil soup, 2-3 oz of chicken breast
AS: light yogurt and/or raw veggies with hummus or ranch Greek yogurt
D: leftover Turkish chicken stew - it's served over pureed eggplant that has some milk & cheese mixed in (enough to make it somewhat creamy - so should be OK)
just heard our friend stir - he's awake! Better get out to the kitchen!
Good morning, from another snowbound midwesterner here. As I expected, the dinner party last night did not help with the weekly weigh-in. I didn't eat a ton, but what I did eat was much later than I usually eat. I was at an all-time low last week and gave little back this morning. I have my six month appointment coming up and I would like to go into that in the best shape possible.
Not a lot planned for today other than the gym. We did successfully execute our family gym trip last night and we are going to try and replicate that this evening.
QOTD: Copying Cassie as is often the case. Read and drink coffee and/or Bai waters.
Breakfast: Bratwurst
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Steak
Snack: Cheese
Dinner: Up in the air, but we have protein leftovers if need be
Have a great day all.

Not yet, I will likely wait until the first weekend of March at the earliest (zone 5a) It's hard to think about spring finally coming with so much snow on the ground!

Good morning everyone! Very cold here and a bit of snow yesterday -- apparently it caused a 47 car pile up on the main access road to the airport which I cannot believe. It was slippery but NOTHING that should have created that kind of chaos.
My party at the Broncos stadium was fun, saw a lot of people I haven't seen in a while, which was great for the ego, lol. Miles the horse was kind of goofy but everyone had fun and my friend was truly surprised by the party...and his wife put together a great set of videos from everyone that couldn't attend and ended with an audio clip of his late father singing happy birthday to him on a voice mail which brought everyone to tears. I skipped the snacks and cake and cupcakes and just enjoyed several tonic and limes; i was a little worried about the carbonation but took lots of small slow sips and no issues.
My mom bailed on our shopping excursion because of the cold, so I think I'm going to head out to the furniture store, I need a few book cases and I have an all season room I need furniture for...and everyone is running crazy president's day deals.
QOTD - netflix and read for sure!
Menu today is coffee + half and half and then water
B - deli black pepper ham and smoked gouda
L - ?
D - I'll run by the store and get a single chicken breast or burger patty....4 more days until I get a fridge.
S - L&F greek
Have a wonderful and relaxing day all!

Good afternoon all.
Yesterday my daughter and I went shopping. I needed to pick up some things because 3 pairs of pants I had were too big when I went to get dressed. We hit 7 stores in 6 hours. But I have to say I was shocked by some of the sizes I was able to fit into. I grabbed a few things telling my daughter I was imagining things to think I would fit into them and then they fit. Shocking. I also noticed there is about 4 inches between me and the steering wheel where I used to have to suck it in to turn the wheel and I can see my feet when going down stairs. Just amazing.
I've been stalled at 191 for about a week and a half. Not unusual but I'd love to see it go down faster.
QOTD: I love to sit by the fireplace, read or crochet, and drink a hot beverage. If there are those big beautiful flakes I will watch them fall. So beautiful.
Today's Menu
Tea, Tea, and more Tea
B- Greek Yogurt
L-Salad with 4 oz chicken
S-Cottage Cheese with fruit
D-Chicken Breast and Veggies
S-Not sure yet
Accountability-Working on it but not that great right now
Have a great day everyone!
