Quite agree with 2nd poster. Track. That's a necessity. Can you eat something like Tuna Creations? If you can't get protein in, drink premier shakes, use protein powder and make smoothies. This will help #1with protein and #2 with hydration. You can kill 2 birds with one stone. Water is optimal for hydration but if that is difficult, find hydration in other ways. If plain water is difficult drink powerade zero or use flavor enhancers. Again, not optimal but better. Premier has water with 20 grams of protein Protein and hydration. If you are going to eat a heavier diet of carbs, be sure they are complex carbs. Brown rice and quinoa have some protein, are healthier choices and will not raise your blood sugar a lot. Legumes, ie, black beans, Northern beans etc are higher protein and are filling. Eat a lot of veggies. They are generally hydrating and no one has ever gotten fat from eating too much spinach or broccoli (without cheese etc) Fairlife milk also has extra protein.

Meal prep and planning is key. Plan what you are going to eat including snacks. I like Detour Simple Protein bars and Built Bars. Jerky and fried pork rinds are good. There are also Smart Cakes, low in carbs. Eat even if you aren't hungry. You had be to, no excuses. Remember, to lose weight and not stall out your metabolism, you have to eat.
