Mornin' Weekenders!

Figured I'd start since I need to post before I head to yoga - and a busy day! If someone can think of a QOTD, feel free to post it!

So yoga, voting, running some errands, picking up our Turkish friend, and spending the rest of the day cooking Turkish food with him! It's supposed to snow tomorrow, so I want to get as much as possible done today.

accountability great, weight up this morning. This drives me nuts!

3 years 8 months out:

B: 3 protein pumpkin pancakes, 1/3 C plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 C homemade apple compote (no added sugar), coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: either cottage cheese or 2 oz chicken breast and raw veggies on a Flat Out wrap

D: borek (spanakopita), lentil soup, chicken stew served over a pureed eggplant thing. I'll probably have a (Middle Eastern style) date cookie and/or 1/2 C of homemade ice cream afterward

ex: yoga

Have a great day, everyone!!

Good morning menu friends! Lily seems to feel better today as in not limping and racing around the house knocking things off tables, shelves, etc. About noon when the temp rises some we'll go up to the park and let her get rid of some energy. We'll do our 1.2 miles before supper too. Accountability was good yesterday step and food wise but I only hit 80 ounces of liquids. Weight at 125.4 today. I've got to get used to drinking more again as I've been slacking there.Goal today is at least 100 ounces. Heres the food for the day B 2/3 c earnest eats pro hot cereal L 2/3 c cheesy broccoli soup D 4 oz burger with cheese S sm apple 1 T peanut butter? Have a great day full of smart choices everyone! Time to start the coffee!

Good morning, all. So glad its the weekend! I was falling asleep on the train ride home last night and struggled to stay up until 10:00. After a good rest, I'm up bright and early this morning. Agenda for today is gym and a dinner party tonight. I only weigh once a week on Sundays, so I have to be careful at the party tonight.

I need to call my mother today. It has been a few weeks, and its getting to the point where I don't want to call because its been so long since I called. Also, the inevitable questions about when we are coming to visit.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Light and fit

Lunch: Steak

Snack: Apple slices and PB Fit

Dinner: At a party, most likely meats and cheeses from charcuterie plate.

Have a great weekend, all.

As a mom who waits to hear from my adult children I sympathize with her, but call anyway- she loves you.

Can she come visit you? My son lives in India now, so yes no expectations of visitations... but when he lived in Chicago we kind of had an unwritten schedule. I went in Fall and late winter/spring, they came to NY Thanksgiving or Christmas and summer was kind of up for grabs depending on what was happening. Sometimes I went to them and sometimes if there was a wedding or something they came here or sometimes we just skipped.

Patterns do help.

What you described about calling your mother is exactly the place I'm constantly in. Doesn't help that she NEVER calls me. So it get easier and easier to not call. She doesn't question about when we'll visit, but I do make a point to see them at least once a year. I'd like to do more- but they moved far.

i spoke to them today- my dad's birthday was yesterday. I always feel good after speaking to them, but it's a lot of mental build up to make the call.

Hi Peach - I started to reply yesterday but then our internet took a break. I called yesterday, but she was out. I'm a couple of weeks past the point where simply calling and leaving a message gets me any credit, so I will try again today.

Good morning! My friend stayed the night and we stayed up late laughing which was great! I invited my cousin over and we had a girls night. Not so great, I gave in to ordering a pizza and ate two slices, and I'm really mad at myself about it. Not only was I uncomfortable and gassy all night, but the scale is up this morning when I'd like it to be at the lowest possible for my Monday appointment. Grrr. I'm going to eat light and hit the fluids hard the rest of the weekend.

Breakfast: coffee with premier

lunch: salad with 2 oz chicken breast, sugar free balsamic viniagrette

dinner: tuna packet

Your breakfast sounds delicious and I love anything Mediterranean so I would happily come for that dinner.

The scale fluctuates you gotta get over it. Maybe you should try Trend weight, it might put your mind at ease.

B: overnight oats and protein, blueberries, banana

L: sweet potato chickpea burger, green beans. Actually recipe for veggies burger I made myself and it was amazing

D: chicken and veggies TBD

S: pumpkin protein muffins, turkey, protein, yogurt- we will see which ones make the cut.

Ex: gym day.

Been trying to get more than 64oz of water in.

Hi pouch peeps! Very excited for the weekend- I've got a few things going on to break away from The humdrum routine. I did my run this morning, and got my nails done. They are sparkly and pretty and makes me feel Uber girly. I am at piano with the older kid. Will drop him off at volunteer work and take the younger to the mall for jeans. Need to figure out dinner and do some cleaning. I need to spend tomorrow prepping some meals for the boys for next weekend while we're in Florida.

3 years 9 month- 215 today. My weight is edging around where I want to be on race day, I'll be happy at 212 for the actual day. Now if I would just leave the 1/2 off valentines chocolate alone...

m1: egg, ham, bologna

m2: rosemary chicken (leftovers)

m3-4??
