I love falafel but discovered early on that it doesn't love me back - I can tolerate one small one, but even that doesn't always sit well. Bah! But maybe baked would "work"? There'd still be the carbs - but it wouldn't be fried in oil, so that might help (I have a hard time with fried foods in general)

I asked my sister to try to make some in her air fryer but I'm not sure if she has yet or not. So far, I have not had anything fried; I'm scared to, lol

Happy Valentine's Day Bethmal and Menu Family!

L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

Mornin' All -
we have a plumber coming over the lunch hour to either replace our basement toilet or replace the stopper etc inside the tank. I got a call from the water utility yesterday letting me know that we had massive amounts of water running into our house. We rarely use that toilet but flu**** once or twice a week so we don't have problems with the water pipe. Evidently DH didn't realize it was running....and running...and running - after he flushed it this past weekend. Yikes. I'd rather keep the thing if possible since it's one of those old-timey five-gallon flushers that would probably flush bricks - unlike the wimpy modern things we have upstairs. But we'll see what the plumber thinks. Unfortunately he'll be here sometime between 11:00 and 1:00 - and all the good exercise classes overlap with that window. Crap. Oh well - this is important, so I'll have to deal with it.
QOTD: Valentine's Day is just another day around here. No special meals or celebrations.
Accountability was great - weight was down a little this morning. Yay!
3 years 8 months out:
B: protein pumpkin pancakes topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt and apple compote (no sugar added), coffee with half & half
MS: pumpkin protein latte shake
L: whipped, sweetened cottage cheese with raspberries
AS: baby carrots with hummus or raw cauliflower with ranch Greek yogurt. And/or a light yogurt
D: not sure. Our Turkish friend will be over here sometime this evening. I'd planned on grilled trout, but I don't have enough for three of us - so I'll have to come up with something else if he's here over the dinner hour.
ES: same as AS
have a great day, all!
