I don't see a post yet so I will start us off.

Accountability: All.Over.The.Place.

QOTD: Do you celebrate Valentine's Day or do you feel like it is a made up Hallmark holiday?

Before I was married I hated it. Now, it's not a big deal. DH always gets me red tulips (my absolute favorite flower in the world!) and a box of salted caramel chocolates from a local chocolate shop in North East. We usually go out for dinner but DH scheduled his colonoscopy for tomorrow so there will be no going out to dinner for us.

TSS: 1 year and 1-month/weight 163

B: PP chocolate shake with my vitamins and then a hardboiled egg

lots of water

L: the last of the bacon and chicken soup

lots of water

edit for D: DH informed me he entered a chili cookoff competition on Saturday so he will be making that this afternoon. He likes to cook it a few days ahead of time - says it tastes better. So, I will have some chili for dinner.

Planned snacks: 1/2 C blueberries, 1/2 C blackberries, and Greek yogurt - not sure what I will snack on but this is what is packed in my bag.

Goal: 120+ ounces of fluid

Have a great day!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Good morning, thanks for kicking things off!

Happy Valentine's Day, friends .

QOTD: I never really HATED Valentine's Day, but I'm not in love with it. DH and I keep it fairly low key, but I was shocked this year when he told me he had actually made us dinner reservations. The reservations are for a local brewery and last night I was looking over their menu, which they nicely have a nutrition calculator for, and HOLY HECK, everything is a billion calories! Even their small "calorie conscious" section is only under 700 calories. In what world is a 700 calories meal "calorie conscious"?! I know I'll only eat 1/3-1/2 of whatever I decide on and make lots of changes like no mashed potatoes or whatever, but I am still in a tizzy about what the best option will be.

I had been hinting around to DH that I would like knock off Air Pods to use at the gym and suspected that he got them for me for Valentine's so I coerced him into giving them to me last night so I could take them to my workout - Game. Changer. No cords to get caught up in? Amazing!

TSS: almost 5 years

B: coffee, eggs, bacon, and a piece of toast (did I mention when DH announced our dinner out I had already agreed to meet my nieces for breakfast so now I'm eating out twice in one day )

S: cottage cheese

L: egg salad and string cheese

S: turkey sticks

D: ????????????? I don't know! Something way to high calorie

Totally agree with air pods being a game changer. Love leaving my phone somewhere nearby and having the freedom to move around at the gym and still listening to my book.

If you have the apple watch, you don't even need to have your phone!

Apple Watch is a sore subject in our household. DH has one and loves it. He has been wanting to get me one since it came out and I refuse to budge. I love my polar watch and heart rate chest band.

Morning all! Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. You are loved and lovely!

QOTD: I try to do something nice for DW, including a meal out, but we don't do flowers since our cats get into them and are prone to nibbling! That said I really enjoyed making decorated cookies for the folks at the office so even though it's a commercial holiday for the most part, I love having another celebration and reason to share.

Very tired again. I am glad that I'm teleworking tomorrow and that Monday is a holiday for us. I plan to go into the office for some classes and meetings and then taking Wed-Friday off. I probably should take the whole week but lots going on in the office on Tuesday so I feel guilty not being there.

Menu:

B: 2 turkey sausage patties, coffee, 1/2 protein shake

S: Chomps

L: chili

S: Chomps, berries

D: ?I'd love to have shrimp or a crab cake if we go out.

Exercise: I'd like to get out in the sunshine for a walk at lunch but my workout last night has me sore.

I asked one of my sales guys yesterday if he'd made plans for Valentines and he said his wife tells him that if he only does something at Valentines, he's doing it wrong, lol.
