G'morning Shauna & Menu peeps!
Haven't been around for a while. Work & life interferes with my social media presence. We went to Lake Tahoe for some skiing/snow boarding. I was whining that everybody on here has had so much snow while we in CA just get rain. So DH planned a long weekend (Mon schools were closed) and we all went to Tahoe. It was really fun and the snow was amazing. I have some good pics I'll share on Fri.
QOTD: according to my dr I was the healthiest MO person she knew. No health problems at all but she also told me if I let it go the problems will start in the next 5-10 years. That's why she & the NUT recommended surgery. But one big change I notice is my outlook on life. Instead of existing I'm living it.

Good Morning! It is raining this morning and supposed to rain off/on for the next few days but we need the rain so it's all good.
Thank you all for you encouraging words and support as I work towards working on my "head" issues. I am still a little in limbo about the therapist/counselor I will be going to but it feels good to be on the right path at least. I am also researching a food addiction program (I am not sure if that is what it's called) that I guess was founded by the other therapist at my center. I am hesitant to start due to the financial aspect but I am researching it and need to place some calls and go from there.
QOTD: Like you, I was pre-diabetic and struggling with high blood pressure and both of those are good for now. I also had mild sleep apnea and that is gone as well.

Good morning~ I am so tired and sore and wish I were home instead of work! But honestly I need the break, lol. I would be home cleaning and whatnot and at least at work, I am somewhat resting my exhausted body. Yesterday, I was getting all worked up over the pre-move out inspection and found myself mindlessly eating pretzels and cheezeits while furiously getting ready for it but got it together once the inspection was over. Everything was fine and I was so relieved to be able to relax and move on! Sunday cannot get here soon enough!
QOTD - I've been able to let my guard down, the wall and the blinders blocking people out so I don't see them looking at me in a judgmental/negative way. I would feel it to my core was just too painful. I don't feel like I stand out anymore and I LOVE that I just blend in everywhere. This is huge for me, seriously.
Accountability - pretzels and cheezeits, but I woke up and I'm good now

QOTD- I really didn't have any health problems, other than my blood pressure that was low was heading to the high range. What I love now is being able to kneel down and not have to worry about how I'm going to get back up, and that I can move so easily through the world. I take the stairs with ease and am not winded, and just feel so light. I'm no longer trying to hide, I feel secure enough in myself to wear jewelry and actually be noticed.
I found a new football team the Arizona Hotshots in the AAF. It's hard to go so long without football and this team has some Oregon players and Nick Aliotti as their defensive coordinator also former Oregon coach. The games move much faster with only 35 seconds between plays and no kick-offs, so the games are only 3 hours versus the 4+ of the NFL. I'm enjoying watching the players and hoping that this league will succeed and some of the players will find their way back to the NFL.
Tomorrow is my mammagram, not looking forward to it. As a breast cancer survivor I always feel like I'm holding my breath, and worry as the cancer wasn't found by the mammagram but by the ultrasound and MRI. I have dense breast tissue, so I never really feel like I am safe if it's clear.

Will this be your first mammo since WLS? I was surprised at how much easier mine was this go around...apparently when you lose all the weight in your boobs, they become less dense and easier to image, who knew, lol?

Good afternoon,
I had to take my friend for cataract surgery today so I was up before dawn. When I got her home, I took her dog for a walk and potty so she could go rest.
I was trying to decorate treat bags for my daycare kids and Misty thinks she needs to help or was trying to bite the raised stickers off. Like she does when I sit up my medication. When I want to play with her, she don't want nothing to do with me.
Qotd high blood pressure, diabetes, neuropathy and sleep apnea have all resolved. Still have depression but it's better controlled if they leave my medication alone.

had some chocolate candy from my secret valentine I got yesterday.
