I love the boars head products. I usually buy the american heart association approved meats.

QOTD- I have a programmable and internet accessible thermostat. I have an app on my phone. At night I let it get down to 64 degrees, during the day it's at 69 when I'm home, but sometimes that just isn't warm enough. So depending on how cold I feel I crank it to 71, my cat gets cold so he hogs the vent when it comes on. My whole house is vaulted and the larger part of it the living room, dining room, kitchen and family room tend to be much cooler than the bedrooms. I close down the dampers on the vents to prevent the bedroom from getting too warm. I sleep under an electric blanket, a wool blanket and a down comforter year round. I ditch the wool blanket and comforter if it gets too hot in the summer time. But as I have AC that rarely happens. I also use a heated blanket when I watch TV. Probably TMI.

I didn't even realize but today is my surgiversary. I didn't weigh myself because I've had a sinus infection and haven't left my house for the last 3 days. I tried to make an appointment with my PCP last Thursday but there was nothing until 3/11/19. I should have called instead of looking online, so Saturday night I was in so much pain I ended up at the emergency room, and got a prescription for augmentin. But it was a painful experience, and I only had a NP who kept trying to push antihistamines and decongestants on me. I know when I have a sinus infection, it is one of the most painful things I've ever experienced and I've had lots of them. So since I felt so crappy I used it as an excuse to eat horrible things. I almost wish that I did dump, but since I don't I just need to correct my behavior and move on. The only things I wanted to eat was salty carbs and sweet carbs. I wasn't that horrible, but definitely not within my plan.

Snowpocolypse didn't happen, the most we got was 1/2 inch of snow at my house, there was more on the east side of the river and in the gorge but here nothing. You would think the world was ending it took me almost an hour to get yogurt and kleenex at the grocery store. I've never seen it that packed not even before Thanksgiving. It was a nightmare. I had rescheduled my EGD on the chance of snow, but with the sinus infection it's probably just as well I didn't have the EGD today.

It looked like they were predicting more snow for the rest of this week, but now I see it's revised to rain, lots of rain....

I need to get back on track and quit snacking. It is amazing to me that I can only fit 2-3oz of dense protein in my pouch, but seemingly unlimited quantities of carbs. Not good.

Have a great day everyone!

I am so sorry you had a sinus infection. I have had more than my share of those. I use a netipot (sp?) that I try and use when I feel sinus congestion starting. Augmentin is a no-no for me as I get severe gastro issues if I take it...like dehydration territory issues. Happy Surgiversary! I hope you feel better soon.

I think I mentioned that I ordered the Ostrim sticks after seeing them on your menu -- they are really good; I like the sweet-slight spice of them.
