I was 39, turned 40 a couple months after...seemed like it was a good milestone time to make that change.

I was 52 and will be 59 this year. I feel better physically and emotional at 59 than I did at 29. By then I was already working on being obese and miserable.

I was 50 and I was afraid I was going to die at 57 like my mom did, the way my health was deteriorating.

Y'all are sprouts! I had my RnY 20 months ago tomorrow, when I was 63. I'm 65 now and feeling so much better!

Good morning all. It's snowy here in the Philly suburbs. The schools had a two-hour delay, but I'm opening the library as normal. I'm prepared for whining... I got up early to check the roads, check in with public works, check the weather etc - so I just kept it going and went out to shovel and clear the cars. It only took about 15 minutes.

Had a good weekend, other than getting rear ended on Saturday DH and I are both fine, the other driver was fine, no airbags deployed or anything - so it wasn't too serious, just annoying. Of course we were also in the "nice car" when it happened.

QOTD: always the head game for me too!

TSS: closing in on 5 years

B: coffee with half and half, egg cups

S: Siggi's

L: egg salad on a Fiber One wrap and string cheese

S: turkey sticks

D: meatloaf and sweet potato

S: PB pretzels and a serving of GS cookies

E: hopefully heading to Aqua Zumba, as long as the gym doesn't close early for the weather!

Happy Monday, friends!

My Mom is near Oxford and they only had snow last night, so clearable. Ice tonight though so that might be more dangerous.
