QOTD: How many people here suffer from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)? I do so some extent. I know many peoplewho suffer greatly and that is so upsetting. I am not sure if its because I am used to the changes of seasons here and my expects it to be dark & kind of gloomy in the winter. But I know for sure come Spring, around April or May I am so ready to see sun and longer hours of day light.

Morning all and happy Friday! We've made it through another week and it's almost the weekend! I need some down time but it's going to be a rather busy weekend instead. Tomorrow my parents are coming down from PA to help do some household fix-it tasks including fixing a kitchen drawer that broken, replacing our ancient toilet & painting the bathroom and temporarily mending our privacy fence until it can be replaced in the spring. Lots of activity with folks who are often cranky and testy at best... Then Sunday we will be catching up on errands and I want to do some baking therapy. Plus if it's dry and just cold, I'd love to get in a hike. Daisy, wish you and the kids could come with me.
QOTD: I really suffer in the summer with the humidity even with the weight loss and improved asthma, I just have trouble functioning and get really down. Now I mind the cold alot more but sunny and cold I can deal with. Endless cloudy days can be depressing though. In all honesty, I love spring and fall best and now the summer until the humidity hits.
