What' is on your menu today (Thursday) RNYers?

That is crazy! I'm going to give it a shot with my old trainer for a month or two, and I've found a pilates center near by (that opens next week so it's freshly-fresh). There are a couple of large rec centers in my area so I think I'll try and do some drop ins there and see what sticks. I really want to get a rowing machine for the basement but I think I'm getting blinds instead....at least for now.

Mornin'!
well our Turkish guest is still here. We had freezing rain last night and DH and I didn't get home from a meeting until after 9:00, so we just stayed in. Unfortunately, the (freezing) rain is supposed to keep up off & on all day today, too. I'm really needing some alone time to recharge my batteries - so hopefully we can get this guy to his new home sometime today or tomorrow. I've enjoyed having him, but I really need some down time.
QOTD: I just avoid them if I can. I'm not very confrontational.
Accountability was poor yesterday. It was fine up until I went to that dinner meeting - then it was too much food, and fattening food at that. I feel like a waterlogged blimp this morning (might have been the goat cheese? on top of the extra calories, of course..), but my weight was down .5 lbs this morning. Weird given how bloated I feel. Hopefully it won't catch up with me tomorrow - sometimes it takes a couple of days to register on the scale. Although maybe I'll be fine if I'm super careful today...
3 years 8 months out:
B: Greek yogurt with mango pieces, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: 2 oz chicken on Flat Out wrap with 2 T hummus and chopped raw veggies
AS: whipped sweetened cottage cheese or light yogurt
D: probably leftover pot roast (we need to finish this up...)
I'm glad that you've been able to help the Turkish guy, but you may have to set some limits and boundaries if he doesn't stand up on his own after while. It may be easier for him to have you do for him, but he may need to spread out the help with some other folks too. You need to have your life too.

Good morning! Ugh, ice - no thank you!!I learned to drive in the snow and did it for years with no problem, but ice is scary especially the ice you can't see. Be careful driving you guys!! It's cold here for us again, low 30's, but it will be a sunny clear day warming up to 55. I need more big fluffy sweaters in my life! This morning I have an orthodontist appt then another dentist appt so I will be going into work late today. I get to enjoy a couple relaxing coffee hours at home, so no complaints!
QOTD - Thankfully I haven't had a coworker like that for years, but like you Daisy I avoid those nightmare people like the plague. Eventually they lose their annoying powers for me from cutting ties and blocking them out.
Accountability - Great!
2 years, 2 months - 166.3 - another pound!
b- coffee x3, eggbeaters and salsa
l-cottage cheese and/or L&F Greek yogurt
d-pork loin chop and green beans - if I can chew if not eggs
es - L&F Greek yogurt half frozen
v/l on track
off the gym wagon, probably until after the move frankly and can settle into my new normal
Have a great day!

good morning my friends!
I entirely forgot it was Thursday already, which is pretty great. this week has kind of flown by!
I totally forgot my DH's best friend is coming over tomorrow and staying the night to hang out...I wish I had cleaned the house a little better last weekend when I actually had the time, but it is what it is. From what my DH tells me, our house is immaculate compared to his anyway so hopefully he's not a "messy house judger" lol. it comes with the 4 year old!
I also failed on my no snacking after 7pm rule last night.
I made the decision consciously though...I was seriously hungry and I held off for a while til I decided to eat something. I made a good choice and had some string cheese and turkey lunch meat and I was only over my cals by about 130. I think I was just really hungry because I didn't have breakfast and it made me feel empty all day. no more skipping breakfast.
QOTD: I am super non confrontational and there is a woman I've worked with for 8 years who was seriously the bane of my existance...I looked for another job for a while just to get away from this woman...luckily about a year and a half ago I was moved to another department so I only have to work with her once in a blue moon if my other co-worker calls in sick and we have no other coverage.
She is a super judgmental nit-picky micro-manager and she is also one of those Hypocritical ultra religious people. I usually am overly nice to her just to avoid conflict but there have been a few instances over the years where I called her on her BS and it did not have a favorable outcome considering she is a manager. Lucky for me she is not MY manager, and most of the other managers in the office are on to her.
B: coffee w/PP as creamer, 1/2 C cottage cheese &no sugar added mixed fruit cup
L: leftover cheesy ranch chicken cauliflower & broccoli
S: L&F greek yogurt
D: I am trying a new recipe- Big Mac in a bowl (basically it's just lettuce with Ground beef, onions, pickles and light thousand island)
have a great day everone!

QOTD- I avoid, not a confronter it is really hard for me to speak up for myself. I avoid confrontation unless I have no other choice. But I also internalize all of it and that is not a good thing. I had a coworker that really hurt me with some remarks. I didn't talk to him for a few days and then I finally confronted him and he apologized-it was difficult for me to do, but I'm glad I did it.
Depending on what weather you look at snowpocolypse is coming. One says up to 14" through the weekend, and others don't give an exact amount. This is the PNW specifically the Portland area and it will shut down with just a few flakes. I'm not sure why people that are unable to drive in snow venture out in it. I can drive in it if I absolutely have to but would rather not. There are tons of people in rear wheel drive cars that attempt it and fail miserably. One winter it took me 3 hours to go less than 2 miles. I am working from home tomorrow, the snow isn't expected until late I hope, as I have a counseling session and don't want to reschedule. I need to get some yogurt tonight just in case I can't get out this weekend.
I ordered a white noise machine and it will be here tomorrow. I was so tired last night I didn't hear a thing. Thank you Artchikk for the suggestion.
I have another EGD scheduled for Tuesday, I'm not sure what will happen if the snow really comes. My friend loves driving in snow and he's taking me to the hospital so I should be OK.
Have a happy Friday Eve everyone!
