Hi Daisy and menu pals! Totally bizarro weather here in DC as well. Freezing last week, random snowstorm out of the blue on Friday, then almost 70 yesterday. WTH.
So I tried Aqua Fit last night. I don't think it's my "thing". One of my gym friends LOVED it, and hated the spin we did the day before. So it must just be personal preference. I tried to explain to Dawne that I work out specifically so I can eat and that's why I feel like I need to get my sweat on! Aqua Fit seemed very relaxing and great for joints but not all that tough...
QOTD: I am SUCH a night eater, which is why I eat dinner around 8:30 or 9 (last night was 9:10!). That ensures I don't have a fourth meal or a snack.
B: 4 oz Boar's Head Ever Roast chicken, 1 oz goat cheese
L: I am thinking of having a mediterranean "spread" since I have all of the following in the fridge: chicken, hard boiled egg, havarti cheese, hummus, small spicy cherry peppers
D: I am having Kris grill up spicy Italian chicken sausage and jalapeño chicken sausage (both from Trader Joes) for tonight's dinner and tomorrow's lunch...have to figure out a side dish for him!
E: Spin again!
Have a fab day, everyone!
You know I am obsessed with aqua classes! But I like it precisely because it doesn't FEEL like I'm working that hard, but according to everything I've read, they can be awesome calorie burners. I know you, girl, you like to feel the burn - so I guess it's on to the next test class!
One day I am going to get you to an Aqua Zumba class with me, I think that's different than a regular water aerobics kinda thing.
