Hi OHers
The weather in northern Maryland has been all over the place this past week. Yesterday it was almost 70 degrees! I admit that I loved every single minute of it and took a long walk after I came home from work. I'd love to take another outside walk tonight but I think it is going to rain so I will probably just get on the treadmill.
My friend came over for dinner and she told me all about what has been going on and why she is leaving her husband. I am a total nonjudgement kind of person, I feel for her and I hope she is truly going to find happiness.
QOTD: I wasn't a snacker but recently I find myself looking for something around 7. That is why I set a goal for this week to cut out the snacking at 7. I was able to get 140+ ounces of water because I didn't snack and focused on water and hot tea. The struggle is real though...
TSS: 1 year and 1 month and 164 pounds (WTH?? Why does the scale fluctuate so much?)
M1: coffee and then PP chocolate shake with morning vitamins
M2: Greek yogurt
M3: 3 ounces of turkey and 1/2 C green beans
M4: Snack table Wednesday, hoping for cheese and fruit. If not, I will probably pass.
M5: Chipotle salad mix with chicken on top
120+ ounces of water and hot tea
Goal: No snacking after 7 PM
Have a great Wednesday!

I am totally copying you with the no snacking past 7pm rule, I need this discipline!

Taking a few minutes to log in this morning. The weather has been all over the place here in the DC area as well. Last week we had lows near 0 with 40-50 mph winds. Yesterday was sunny and was 72 on my way home from work. I did take advantage of the nice day and did a 3.5 miles walk at lunch a gathered a lawn bag of branches and leaves in the back yard until dark. It felt great to be outside a bit. Rainy coming in this afternoon and by Saturday back to seasonable cold.
QOTD: If I don't get to bed on time (early), I feel completely munchy. Sometimes a big mug of hot herbal tea helps.
Found out that at the end of February my training detail will end and I'll go back to my regular daily grind. It has also become very clear that I won't be hired for supervisory position because I'm not one of the "cool kids". Not sure that I want the headaches anyway...
Menu:
B1: coffee, DD turkey sausage wakeup wrap
S: Chomps
L: chili
S: salmon jerky
D: ?TJ's chicken sausages
Exercise: an hour in the gym with my trainer, maybe a walk at lunch

Janet,
You are so much more than one of the "cool kids'. You are an amazing, kick ass, strong woman!! Don't let them steal one moment of your joy. I think you are the best!!
Thanks sweetie! It's just hard when there are 20 & 30-something kids who blow smoke in the right direction but frankly have little to no actual experience AND are looking to go up the ladder and won't stay here very long.... On the other hand, I don't like the politics and occasionally say so, and that's doesn't endear me to the Powers That Be.
