QOTD: I track everything I eat in MyFitnessPal every day, but I have to admit if it's something where there are more than one option, I often pick the choice with the least calories. For example, when I make homemade chili and I look up "chili" there are many to choose from. I pick one with less calories, but my homemade chili probably has more calories than what I'm entering.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 91, Calories - 1,281, Carbs - 116.
B: sausage, egg & cheese casserole, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, homemade banana brownie

Karen, when you make your chili just input all the ingredients in the recipe maker of MFP and it calculates for you what every portion is.

Happy Friday! Daisy, so sorry for your migraine issues but hope you get to enjoy an unplanned weekend pain free!!
i am technically off today through next Friday so I can unpack ? but what that really means is I only have one conference call today and next week I don?t have any conference calls on Wed and Friday. I?m not complaining, with our ?unlimited? vacation plan, I actually find it less frustrating when I have to work when I?m off. Unpacking will be the theme for the week but I am meeting a friend this evening to look at blinds/shades/shutters to get some ideas of what?s available and then I?m meeting friends for a movie on Saturday night and a different one on Sunday morning, so a good mix.
QOTD - for most of the year, I planned my menu in Baritastic and then as I ate, I put it into MFP but I really find MFP clunky, I can?t get the displays to work the way I want them and I reached out for technical support and am still waiting 8 months later. I do log everything though and have switched to screenshotting my original plan for the day and just updating as the day goes and comparing the two. For me the planning and knowing where I should be calorie/protein/carb wise helps me make better substitutions/choices if I make them. On days when I?ve just tracked as I go, I seem to be higher calories for sure!
