Morning Daisy, and crew! Today is bitter cold, supposed to be in the negative 40-50s range and schools have been closed. Usually that means I work from home, but since I have remote start and there's nothing making the roads treacherous, I'll probably go into the office. I've noticed that I'm much more productive and focused and have more tools there (I have two huge monitors plus my laptop to work from, essentially giving me a three monitor setup, which makes it hard to work from my laptop alone when I'm home!)
The scale has started moving again! I've been stalled FOREVER but I've dropped 4 lbs this week. I'm under no illusion I'll make my goal or even onederland by my one-year (next month) but I'm hoping to get to 100 lbs lost. I feel like I plummeted 30 lbs in my first month and then it's been a slow ever since. If any newbies are reading this, take note: your weight loss can not be compared to anyone else's.

Breakfast: coffee with Premier
lunch: forgot to check today's menu again. Yesterday was chicken and steak burrito bowls. I skipped the tortilla and rice, and just had a bowl of chicken (about 3-4 oz) with salsa, lettuce, and cheese
dinner: turkey breast with green beans

I wanted to lose 100 pounds by my year out too but it didn't happen. However, I look at how far I have come and where this next year will take me and I am okay with it. I did lose the 100 about three weeks after my year out. What a ride, huh?

For sure! Even when I'm stalled or losing frustratingly slowly, I can still see progress--whether it be inches, clothing fit, or general fitness/strength/stamina--which keeps me positive. It helps that I have my overall TREND on a graph as well, so I can see that I'm tending DOWN albeit slowly. And I'm definitely proud when I see my before/after pics.
I know I'll get to Onderland this year, and I'll set a new goal then. My ticker has my current overall goal, but my first goal is just to get under 200

That definitely cheers me up to hear that people continue to lose in year 2. I know I'll be way more active this spring and summer too, which will help. I'm going to buy a bicycle! There's lots of riding trails around here.

Good morning everyone. I feel bad for everyone dealing with the really cold weather. We will be in the upper 40's today, but lots of east wind.
My sleep has been horrible. I was up for about 3 hours in the night last night, overthinking. I cannot shut my brain off. I just lay in bed and feel my heart pounding in my chest. Too many things going on right now that I cannot control. I have an appointment with my counselor tomorrow.
Food has been good! I am loving protein pancakes. They are a game changer for me.
Food for today-
protein pancakes with WF syrup
1c. cottage cheese with EBB seasoning
1 can albacore tuna with red onion, dill pickle and SG poppyseed dresssing
chicken sausage baked with onions and peppers
I am headed out for a walk soon with Josie.
Stay warm and stay safe everyone.
Hope you get relief to help with your sleep and getting your thoughts where they allow you to relax. I am not sleeping well either right now, my youngest went back to school last weekend and now we have the 65 lb Standard Poodle sleeping in our bed.....she has to be right next to me ...basically on me.....
