AHHHH today started off pretty slippery- literally, nothing was plowed on my commute to work this morning. I was 20 mins late despite leaving 20 mins early and I turned out to be one of only 2 people in my department of 8 that actually made it to the office today...so hooray for me! lol...
I already put in a PTO request for wednesday this week since they are saying RECORD lows of ALL time in Chicago--we are talking a HIGH of -14 degrees, -55 with windchills, so I AM NOT LEAVING all day and I am definitely not taking Story outside even just to get in the car.

We stayed home all day yesterday too, in our pajamas, made art projects and valentine's day decorations and it was nice and cozy. It was not great for me accountability wise though, as I found myself grazing too much, and when I actually went back in and logged everything I was wayyy over my calories for the day...but today is a new day and I am back on track! I will be much more cognizant on Weds when I am home again.

QOTD: DH and I probably used to go out to a restaurant once a week or so prior to WLS, and I would also stop for fast food maybe once a week. I definitely was a volume eater of all the wrong foods as well...DH could also eat about 8 times the normal portion of food before. We still go out once in a while now...but probably like once a month or less. DH will sometimes take story out on his day off but usually they order one thing and share it and there are always leftovers LOL. I do go to Dunkin's drive through once in a while still but I just get coffee--sometimes I will get donuts for the kids if I am going to my sister's house but they just don't tempt me at all.

B: coffee w/ half vanilla PP as creamer, 1/4C cottage cheese, 1 HB egg, 1 turkey sausage patty
L: creamy chicken & cauliflower rice soup (I made a big pot on saturday!) & small honeycrisp apple
S: L&F greek yogurt, maybe light string cheese if needed
D: mini meatloaf & mixed veggies

have a great day everyone!

Hopping on a bit late today. I went to work where I immediately started feeling nauseous and even started dry heaving. At that point I'd only had my coffee with Premier, so there wasn't much to get sick over. I left work and on my way home my vision started blurring--nausea and blurry vision for me are sure signs of a migraine coming on. Took some Tylenol and a nap at home, and now feel groggy but not like a full blown migraine. Plenty of fluids and going to take t easy the rest of the day.

Qotd: fast food for sure, especially since I eat dinner on my own frequently when DH goes gaming with his friends after work. It was so convenient to just drive through somewhere and order enough food for two (including two drinks so the drive through workers would assume I was taking it home for someone else. Nope, just me being gluttonous). DH and I ordered pizza delivery a lot too, and often ordered a large pizza...for each of us. I hated sit down restaurants because I felt like people were watching me eat.

Food today: so far just a premier shake with coffee. Nothing sounds appetizing at all, but I'll try to eat some sort of protein thing later

Good afternoon everyone. I am super late today, but thought I would post for accountability since there wasn't much of it yesterday.

I've been working on board meeting minutes this morning, and laundry. There is always laundry. I need to get out and take a nice long walk. The weather is perfect for it.

QOTD: I was more of a sit down in restaurants type, although I did see my share of drive through windows.

Thanks Kelly, I can't believe how much the tart cherry juice is helping already! It's the first time i've tried it and man do I wi****ried it the few times i've had an attack. It does have a lot carbs of course but that's ok. It's well worth it so far!
