G'morning Daisy & Menu family!
Good start of the week. Weekend was relaxing and productive. I joined a new book club, not sure about all the members. One member confessed she hasn't read anything in more than a year except for sports illustrated. I can't imagine my life not reading. I joined the club because I know they'll force me to read books that I wouldn't choose on my own. We shall see.
QOTD: not a drive through person, but also a closet eater so didn't eat much at restaurants either. I would go to starbucks and pretend I am ordering for the whole office. I would get 4-5 pastries with only one drink and eat the whole thing. That was 2-3 times a week. As I said before, not a big foodie but huge on sweets.
B: protein coffee
L: eggwich
S: I finally found the L&F creme brûlée you guys were talking about. Yum!
D: turkey meatballs & cauliflower rice.
Have a great day, everybody.

I love that L&F creme brulee, too - in fact, i think it's my favorite flavor. I keep buying at least 4-6 things of it every time I go to the store so they'll keep it in stock!!! (and so Dannon will keep making it - it's still listed as a "limited edition". I hope it'll prove so popular that they'll make it one of their regular flavors!!)
HAha every time I go to the store I buy it in bulk too, just in case it's not there next time I buy yogurt!

Good morning. It is windy and in the 40's here. I just feel cold. I am off work today. I have a meeting with our accountant this morning and then I am going to come home and tackle my closet. None of my size 8 or 10 jeans fit me. I am really working on logging every bite and focusing on my fluids. I need to get these last 25 lbs off. Trying to find my sweet spot with calories.
My husband and I were supposed to go to the beach this weekend, but we talked and I really just want to be home and focus on being on track with my food. Maybe we will go on a day hike or something.
Food has been good. I had grilled halibut yesterday for lunch. Wow, that really filled me up and kept me satisfied.
QOTD- I was always been a volume eater. We don't have fast food in our little town, but I loved carby, savory food. Brie, pesto, any and all pasta, french bread dipped in ranch! I was always a food snob. I loved eating out in sit down restaurants, but I always cooked at home too.
Food for today-
3 black coffee
Protein pancakes with WF syrup, 1 T butter
1 can albacore tuna with 2Tbsp SG poppyseed dressing, red onion
1c. cottage cheese with EBB seasoning
5 oz grilled halibut with lemon and capers
888 cal, 13 carbs, 141 protein
Lots of water and vitamins always
Hello folks! Hope everyone is keeping warm!
QOTD- I didn't eat out often because I was trying to eat clean. I would go out to a local Gyro shop at lunch with coworkers a couple of times a month where the worst thing I did was getting a piece of baklava (yum). A fast food meal was maybe every quarter? I would go out for a nice dinner with friends from time to time but not weekly.

Good morning,
I didn't get on Friday due to had to be to work at 1015. I did good eating till yesterday when I binge on 6 cookies. Plan to bring the rest to work today.
We got a bad snowstorm last night. There was 244 closings for my county alone. Most started closing before the storm. It feels minus seven this morning. I won't be spending much time outside, just to walk to work and back. They already canceled my support group for tonight.
Qotd if I had someone to eat out, would go to sit down places but had to have a table or a buffet place. By myself I would go to fast food and order two complete meals so it looked like I was buying for two people and super size it and I was eating alone. If someone was home, I scarfed it down before I get home and hide the evidence.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and unsweetened applesauce
D chicken salad and this new salad kit I found yesterday at aldi called sunflower crunch
Have a good day
