Hi Daisy! I know you are loving the snow :) You're crazy with your love of winter! Did you get the dogs out for some good hikes? Do your migraines seem to have subsided?

Our weekend was good. We took the little kids to Monster Jam. It was...underwhelming. Fascinating to people watch however. There were quite a few families, of course, but also a fair amount of couples without kids. I can't picture Kris and I ever going to Monster Jam, just the two of us. The guy behind us made some MONEY off the event - apparently people gamble and choose who they think will "win" the different "events"? It's all new to me!

QOTD: Restaurant, for sure. In DC we don't have fast food for the most part. I used to be this insane social butterfly and seriously ate out like 3 nights a week, ordered in once or twice, and then cooked (large, carby meals) the others. Ugh, I cringe when I think about the quantity of food I used to fit in!!!

B: Leftover crab and mayo and Old Bay (broiled last night, cold for leftovers today)

L: Crab and mayo and Old Bay again

S: Mini peppers dipped into greek yogurt and ranch seasoning

D: Sweet Italian chicken sausage from Trader Joes - am making a cheesy pasta bake for Kris, but I will prioritize the chicken and only have a few bites of pasta

E: Sniff sniff, my gym closes Thursday. So I am aiming to do two classes tonight - a toning class followed by a boxing class. I am very verklempt about this and haven't found a new gym yet. I need classes, classes, classes - that's what motivates me!

Have a wonderful day and stay warm, everyone!

Thank you for the air fryer wings tutorial! They were so good, crispy yet juicy! Perfect. Now we need to find some good wing sauce. The sauce we used was a little too hot, we like garlic parm, so will need to find a recipe that will satisfy!! Thanks again!

Yay! I am glad you guys enjoyed them! I swear, I will probably use my air fryer exclusively for wings...since I am not a big potato person, and I don't know what else I would cook in it.

I know every Aldi has different items, but I did find both traditional wing sauce as well as garlic parmesan wing sauce at my local Aldi about a week or so ago. Our grocery store also has an array of wing sauces ranging from mild to spicy.

For the Super Bowl, I plan to make wing dip. It's basically cream cheese, ranch, red hot sauce, and rotisserie chicken, baked with some cheese on top. I got the recipe from Erin T. It's not low cal, but it's delicious!

I am familiar with the dip as well, we love it. I will ahve to check at Aldis, I am hoping we have the wing sauce.

I made some boneless chicken breast nuggets in the air fryer,

Egg wash - eggs, mayo, dijon mustard, garlic powder

I used ground up hot an spicy pork rinds to coat them

They were delicious!!!

I told my sister to try to make falafel in hers, I am wondering if they would turn out.

I should edit that to say I asked my sister...it sounds so bossy the way I wrote it...but I am the oldest and I am pretty bossy, lol.

I'm the older sister and I am bossy with my brother as well :)

Falafel (in the past) was NOT acceptable to my pouch, but when I was in Israel, I tried it a few times with no problems....yum! Let me know how she says it turns out!

That would be interesting, let me know how it turns out. I've tried beer battered halibut in my air fryer and it works great. I get the taste without all the calories.

I've thought about getting an air fryer just for wings but I really prefer putting them on my smoker. It has been a really cold winter so I haven't been able to get out my smokers like I've wanted to.

Me either Chris, just too cold and I am not a smoke master like yourself!!! I could use a nice smoked brisket right about now
