How far in your process did you get the surgery date?
I am pretty set on RnY being my choice of surgery. I have my three nutrition appts scheduled (Feb, March and April). I have my bloodwork in. D came back a little low, but that's it. I'm seeing a therapist but I need to do an eval with a different doctor( which is weird, but ok). I'm on month 2 of 6. Just wondering at which point in the process do you get a surgery date? I'd love to have something tangible on the schedule to look forward to.
Once all 6 of my required 6 months Evan were done they submitted to insurance and once approved, I got my date.

Insurance was a six-month process. My Vitamin D was low enough to get prescription-strength D. Once completing the requirements on time at six months, I received a phone call with a surgery date two weeks down the road. I remember thinking, "six months to prepare and now only two weeks to figure out a good excuse to get out of it." Deep down, I knew better. No regrets. Wishing you the same.
I also had a six month requirement and they submitted to insurance on the day I completed that. My surgery was scheduled when the approval was received a few days later (I had my surgery 10 days afterwards).

Congratualtions!
I had to go through my surgeon's program before he would give me a surgery date. It took 6 months, but once completed everything and he felt I was ready I had my surgery date within a week. Hang in there, it will be here before you know it You want to use this time to identify and deal with all the head issues you eat. It really helped me get the weight off and keep it off for 14 years.
Keep us posted on how you are doing.
