Good morning! It is pouring outside and Justice is shaking in my lap. Florida thunderstorms seriously frighten this little boy possibly because he was probably out in a few when he was a stray. Luckily I got him outside to do his business before it started because he absolutely won't go out in the rain even if he is completely full up.

QOTD: I am mostly an introvert, but can act as if I'm not at times. I am an ISTJ on the MBTI personality test (the "I" meaning Introverted).

Good morning Daisy and menu crew. I agree, Happy Friday eve. It snowed all day yesterday, took me 2 hours when I got home to clean the drive, sidewalks and to snowblow a running path in the back yard for Bethany. We have been in our house for 20 years and I have never seen the snow banks as high. We woke up to 37 degree weather and snow melting, it is supposed to rain today...crazy weather.

QOTD - I am an extrovert that also enjoys downtime. I like to read, when we camp with groups I always spend some time reading away from the group. It bothers some people, they will ask why I am quiet, etc...I just explain that I need my downtime. We are going on a cruise in April, we have booked an excursion to a private beach club in Mexico that only accepts 125 people a day, I feel that I am going to need some downtime at that point in my trip...

B- Scrambled eggs and ham

L - Salami/Proni and cheese

S- Cukes and ranch

D- baked scallops, with Garlic butter and ground pork rinds instead of bread crumbs

E - Gym night

Good morning menu friends! Thanks for starting us off Daisy! QOTD definetely a natural introvert but I make myself more extroverted when it'sneeded. I do love to travel though and am jealous of those who go out of the country. Accountability was spot on yesterday step and foodwise and weight today was 124.4. Had 120 ounces of water too which is the goal for today. Lily and I will walk 1.25 miles in a few minutes when it's light enough to see ice and will do our 4 miles after lunch today as we have early plans today. Falling the other day made me leary of walking when I can't see slick spots well. Heres the food for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with 1 T homemade almond butter and protein powder L3/4 c cheese broccoli soup D 4 oz burger with bit of mayo S meat stick or pork rinds(4 oz). Have a great day full of smart choices everyone! Time to make coffee! Yes!

Mornin'!

It's freezing outside - and we got a lot of snow yesterday. Still, I need to get out of the house. I'm trying to decide between going to this new yoga class this morning (that I went to Tuesday and loved), or this coffee social thing that this new (to me) organization I just joined is having. Of course, they're both at the exact same time. Then we're meeting some friends for dinner later on (7:00 - these friends love to eat late (in fact, 7:00 is kind of early for them)) - which means I have to plan in a heavy snack this afternoon so I can hold out that long - plus there's the dinner - so it's going to be a real juggling act to stay within my calorie range. Ugh. Well, there's always carryout boxes...

QOTD: depends on the definition you're using. If the psychology definition, then I'm an introvert. I draw my energy from within, and being with other people for too long can wear me down - I need to escape and be by myself to re-charge my batteries. If the popular definition, then somewhere in the middle. I do enjoy being with people and I have a lot of friends. I also have no problem with things like public speaking. I sometimes struggle with small talk, though, and I don't like crowds. I'm much better with people one-on-one or in small groups.

3 years 7 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with sliced kiwi, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake (and, if I go to the coffee social, then more coffee with half & half)

L: either homemade cottage cheese or rotisserie chicken on a Flat-Out wrap

AS: I may have a bowl of TJ's High Fiber cereal as it's SUPER filling and should tie me over until dinner

D: it's restaurant week, so I have three choices each for appetizer, entree, and dessert. I'm thinking the winter squash salad, the salmon (comes with cabbage and sweet potato - will take the sweet potato home), and a vegan blondie, which I'll give to DH)
