Hi Weight Loss Warriors! How are you all? I am good! As Emipie says its "Friday Eve" and I can't wait for the weekend, its been a very busy long work week and I need some downtime.
Accountability: good - I did add in a Starbucks Grande Vanilla Latte made with Almond milk, its was delish!
QOTD: Are you an introvert or an extrovert? I am 100% an introvert! Once I get to know a person or persons I am much more out going but initially I am quiet and guarded. I must say that I am quite fascinated by some of our OHers like DCgirl (Emily) Partpollyana (Jen) and TheDuffman27 (Mike) who travel extensively for their jobs, I just could not do that, I am such an introvert and homebody. But I love to hear about all the great places you all go!
Time since surgery: 5 yrs + 2 mos
B: 2 decaf coffees with almond milk then 4oz of chicken over salad greens with balsamic dressing

Good morning Daisy and friends! I feel like I am MIA here this week but I am reading as much as possible. So looking forward to getting to my new normal sometime next week or maybe the week after. The movers gave me a 6 day window for delivery so hard to plan around that yet.
qotd - I am a mix - I love getting out, being with people and I get a lot of energy from that but I also need a bit of alone time. As long as I can get some quiet coffee time in the morning everyday, I am set! I am so lucky, I love to travel, even boring work travel. I am the person that talks to everyone (but I think I pick up on the "don't talk to me cues"..I'm not THAT person)!
Today, full day of meetings, plus signing the close docs on my house here, dinner with friends and bookclub, plus I'll pack up my car tonight to ale sure all the stuff I am driving up fits. I am having doubts.
menu today
Coffee and half and half, then tea and water
b - 4 oz ever roast deli chicken and .6 oz provolone
l - chobani
d - mango chicken salad at cantina laredo - this is a green salad with chicken breast, mango, spicy pepitas and cheese.
Have a great Thursday all!!

Jen, I think I saw your doppelgänger in my neck of the woods. She looked so much like you (same red hair, same hair cut) that I actually asked her "is your name Jen?" I have no idea how you laugh but from your pics I sorta pictured it in my head. When she laughed I told her she even laughs like you. I kept asking you sure you don't have a relative named Jen? After 2-3 questions I noticed she was stepping away from me very slowly!

That is hilarious!! I have an obnoxiously loud laugh that I try to make quieter but my friends tell me that they can't not laugh if I laugh so that's good, right?
There actually is another Jen, same last name as me, and we lived close enough that we both used the same pharmacy. It created a bit of confusion! I never managed to meet her though!

How did I know that about your laugh? Not that it's obnoxious, but that you laugh with your heart and it's loud! I can see it in the pics...weird!!

When I was in elementary school there was another girl in the same grade as I who had the same name. We weren't in the same classroom, but she lived two blocks up from me on the same street and her mother was named Mary, the same as my mother. Boy, did that ever cause problems right up until their family was transferred to another state. I certainly don't have that problem any more, but I have a very common name so I always give my birth date when calling my doctor so they don't pull up someone else's record.

Hi All and Happy Friday Eve!
Yesterday was crazy at school. The kids were just off most of the day. April behaviors in January is not good! After school today I have a meeting with the teacher's union... negotiations of the new contract. I am just the representative for my school, not the negotiator.
QOTD: I am a total introvert. I don't really 'like' people. I don't like talking to random people or hanging out with people. I am quiet and certainly guarded. I have a few friends and I keep my circle small.
TSS: 1 year and almost 1 month
M1: overnight oats -> 1/4 cup oatmeal, plain Greek yogurt, and Fairlife milk with a teaspoon of local honey
M2: last of the ground beef, zucchini, onion, garlic, and tomato mixture
M3: pear and a cheese stick

Didn't make my goal of 120+ ounces yesterday so I am shooting for that plus all of my vitamins.
Have a great Thursday!
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
