I have to admit that I'm missing the snow too. Not driving in it or shoveling it, but it is so beautiful and taking a walk in it when it is falling is heavenly.

Good morning everyone. I am feeling "off" today. I feel dizzy with a dull headache and just tired. I was going to go to town and get groceries today, but I think I will just stay home and push fluids.

QOTD- I love spring, everything is new and fresh.

Food for today-

1 c. black coffee with Miralax and then lots of hot mint tea. My tummy has been off. I am taking a break from cheese. I cannot be trusted around vintage white cheddar. It is a slippery slope for me and too many calories.

B- 2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

L- 4 oz shredded chicken with salsa

S- Just 2 yogurt

D- smoked tri tip

Not really feeling hungry today, but this is the tentative plan.

G'morning Daisy & Menu peeps!

Happy hump day!

I was at an event last night. I see these people every other month at this dinner. It was so funny that all of a sudden a couple of them noticed I had lost weight. I mean it took you 115 lbs less of me to notice? Don't get me wrong, I know these people are busy and it shows me even more that they don't pay attention - so all of my paranoia when I was MO was only mine because obviously they don't see me! The compliments were appreciated but none of them was actually sure of the change. They said "did you lose some weight?" but with an unsure tone as in maybe there is something else that has changed. Anyway, I was on cloud 9 when I left the event. The dinner, salmon and caviar, was divine.

QOTD: I love winter, snow and cold. But I live in CA on the coast. So I like it when it gets a little cooler and crisper around Nov. It doesn't get too hot here during summer, thank goodness because I hate the heat and sweating. I never got the chill effect everybody talks about after wl.

B: protein coffee

L: turkey meatballs

S: Fage yogurt + SF syrup

D: turkey chili (somebody gotta finish all that chili I made)

Have a great day, my friends!

I had a couple of people who only saw me before and after the weight loss period (minus 104 pounds) ask me if I cut my hair because I looked different (I didn't change my hair btw). LOL!

Good afternoon,

Weather is crazy. In the last 24 hours, we had freezing rain, snow and now it's raining. The temp will get to 38 today then dropping back to the low 20's tonight.

i had a counseling session this morning. But all I want to do is go back to bed. Coffee isn't helping. I feel like I'm coming down with a cold.

I did better with my eating yesterday even when my friend asked the last two days if I wanted a donut. I kept telling myself that the fat brain isn't going to win. I told her yes fat brain wants but skinny body don't need it. Lol

Qotd summer, love the warm weather and what activities it has to offer.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and canned peaches

D sirloin pork chop and green beans

Have a good day

I like a temperate climate. I chose the right place to live.

I made vegetarian chili last night. I will eat that again. Chicken and yogurt.

hey everyone,
I am posting really late today but I had a busy morning...had my annual bloodwork done this morning and then started late at work...It took me an hour to get to the doctors office this morning because of the snow but I left early so I made it on time. it did take me about 20 minutes to clean off my car and shovel the front patio/walkway though, so I'm kind of glad I didn't have to wake up early this morning and had some extra time.

QOTD: I absolutely hate winter but less for the cold/weather reasoning and more for the daylight aspect. I mean I don't really like the cold either but I feel like winter is so hard to make plans to do anything or visit anyone...I love going for walks, going to the beach, taking Story to the park, etc and I LOVE summertime, it is definitely my favorite by a mile...I've always loved it, even when I was MO and got so hot and sweaty...although I don't like that part so much, I still love that it stays light out for so much longer which makes it feel like the day is longer and I can get so much more done and stay motivated instead of just wanting to hibernate.

B: leftover low carb pizza, coffee w/1/3 vanilla PP and a few drops of Pumpkin spice extract
L: curry chicken meatballs w/cauliflower rice
S: 2 string cheese
D: leftover fajita stuffed peppers

hope everyone has a wonderful wednesday!

Amber, do you make the curry chicken meatballs or do you buy them already made? I'd love to try them!

I make them myself. it's a super simple recipe- I use 1lb ground chicken, finely diced onion (about half medium sized one), 1 egg, 2-4 tbsp coconut flour (depending how much moisture is in the chicken)...then I season with salt & curry powder (I use about 2 tbsp but you can adjust to how you like it) and about 1tsp of ground cinnamon...I use a cookie scoop to measure out the meatballs so they're the same size, and then I just fry them in a pan on the stovetop.
I will take them out of the pan to make a sauce- chop & sautee the other half of the onion and I like to also add poblano peppers and canned tomatoes...sometimes I also add peas, but you can kind of decide what you like. then add more curry/cinnamon or whatever indian spices you like,--i dont even know how much because i just kinda dump it in lol...once it's all tender and cooked, I add a can of coconut milk. salt to taste, and voila. I usually serve it with a dollop of plain greek yogurt to mix in for a creamier texture too...but if you add it when it's still cooking it just separates and becomes gross.
I usually eat it with cauliflower rice as a vehicle for the delicious sauce haha.
