Hey all my menu mates! How are you all? I am good!

Cold and snowy here! Supposed to get a snow storm today and again on Friday. What is the weather doing where you are?

Accountability: Spot on. But I will tell you that my resolve was tested yesterday! A friend at work brought in home made Rice Krispie squares, OMG they looked so amazing. She kept saying "eat one, just a small one!" I told her that I was full from lunch, which was only half true, I so wanted one of those marshmallow goodies!

QOTD: What is your favourite season and why? For me hands down its Winter. Not sure if its because I am Canadian and its just in my blood but I love snow, I love winter sports, I love skating, skiing, snowmobiling, having a roaring fire going while the snow falls outside. I hate Summer. I hate humidity, I hate sweating, I hate going to be when the sun is still up.

Time since surgery: 5 yrs + 2 mos

B: 2 decaf coffees with almond milk and 1/2 cup ground beef with spaghetti sauce on top

L: 5oz of grilled chicken breast over mixed greens & balsamic dressing

S: 10 mini carrots

D: 1 hot turkey sausage with 1/2 cup green beans

S: 1/2 gala apple & 1 tbsp peanut butter

E: 10 km hike with the dogs in the snow

L: 150 oz liquids at minimum (decaf coffee, green tea & water)

Have an awesome day everyone, see you back here tomorrow!

Hi All,

The weather here is warmer than it was I think our high today is 30 and heavy rain will move in later today.

Accountability: popcorn... that is all. I think I just need to throw it out.

QOTD: Hands down SUMMER is my absolute favorite season with spring and fall coming in second and third, least favorite is winter. I hate being cold, not fond of snow, ice, sleet or freezing rain. I love being outside and working in my garden or laying in the pool reading a good book/magazine. Oh, and I don't work in the summer - probably the most important reason!

TSS: 1 year and almost 1 month 159 pounds

B: Greek yogurt with Fiber One twigs sprinkled on top

MS: PP chocolate shake

L: tuna salad, 1/4 c. applesauce

AS: two laughing cow wedges in 3 mini pepper

D: a mixture of ground beef, zucchini, onions, and tomatoes

ES: hardboiled egg (NO popcorn tonight - I have a plan)

100+ ounces of water (trying for 120) and vitamins

Going to the gym later and continuing with my plank challenge

Have a great day made with great choices!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Good morning all!

Daisy, I'm glad that you and the fur-kids can get out in the snow. I know that it's your favorite!

QOTD: I really love Spring & Fall as the seasons change and living in the US Mid-Atlantic, we have 4 seasons...well, usually! I used to love Winter because i wasn't as hot but now I'm cold all the time and frozen fingers and toes are miserable. On the other hand, the warmer weather in Summer isn't bad, at least until the DC swampy humidity hits. Last year I found out that I'm still miserable with the humidity even though I am thinner. A sweaty mess!

For those of you who don't know, DW was terminated from her job on the 8th and is even more depressed and non-functional. I'm trying hard to stick plan, lots of protein and exercise, even in the midst of overwhelming stress. At least some of the work stress has leveled out and I like the people I'm working with now.

Menu:

B: coffee, DD turkey sausage wake up wrap

S: turkey Chomps

L: chicken zoodle soup

S: TJ's salmon jerky, apple

pre-gym: protein shake

D: Arby's roast beef no bun, blueberries

Exercise: an hour in the gym with my trainer
