What's on your menu today (Tuesday) RNYers?
Up and moving finally. Stiff after my fall on the ice yesterday. Breakfast is done and Lily and I will head out in a minute to do our 4 miles. Temp is a bit better--supposedly it feels like 10 right now. QOTD I don't really stash food but I do catch myself trying to eat things like nuts--too many of them--when no one is watching. Old habits die hard. I really need to pick up the fluids--yesterday only hit 84 ounces. Accountability was good even though I switched out supper as the family wanted burgers from Sonic so I had a bowl of their chili--only 150 calories and it was good. Weight today 124.8. Heres todays food B1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and 1 T peanut butter L3/4 c french onion soup with string cheese D 4 ozs pork patty S 4 oz pork rinds. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!
Good morning, everybody. I'm going skating tonight (at least that is the plan). When you are 30th out of 31st among NHL teams, you have to make an extra effort to keep your fans happy and tonight is a practice rink skating party. The initial invitation said snacks but the most recent one said donuts. That will be a pass for me. As others have said, I'm scared to find out that I dump but even more scared to find out that I don't dump.
Skating after work also gives me an excuse to wear jeans and sweater to the office on this cold day
Has anyone tried the new Ham and Cheddar Sou vide egg bites from Starbucks? They are 250 calories. I liked the Bacon Gruyere but those were 330 I think. Never tried the egg white ones.
QOTD: Similar to Liz that I have to hoard healthy food. I have two teenage boys in the house and if they were to discover that they like something like cottage cheese or Mahi-Mahi burgers they would eat through my two weeks supply in one video game session.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: I might try the new egg bite
Snack: Light and fit
Dinner: Not hockey rink donuts. Likely meatball.
Have a great day, all.

I LOVE starbucks egg white breakfasts but I eat them only when on the road. Too many cals but so good when in a pinch.

I didn't know there was a new flavor of the sous vide...ham and cheddar sounds perfect. I've made pretend egg bites in my instant pot and they've come out really tasty -- but I'm thinking of borrowing a friends sous vide machine and giving that a try, just to see how it comes out.

G'morning Daisy and menu family,
Gorgeous sunrise here on the west coast. It will be cloudy but in upper 50s which for you guys must be warm.
QOTD: I can NOT trust myself with chocolate. I will eat it even with dumping. So what I hoard now is quest bars in case the urge of chocolate is over powering. I also tend to hoard other sweet stuff that I can have. I now have a shelf full of Jordan skinny syrups. I think I have 10-12 different flavors , I can open a store. When last year I discovered the fit and low pumpkin pie Greek yogurt I had 20 of them at a time in the fridge. If you open my freezer right now I have FOUR boxes of eggwich, but that's bcz DH& DS discovered they like them too, so I'm worried they might fini**** I guess as they say, the surgery is done on our stomach but not our brain.
B: protein coffee
L: chicken veggie soup
S: parm cheese
D: TBD, at an event, but protein forward
Have a magnificent Tuesday.
