What's on your menu today (Monday) RNYers?
on 1/21/19 6:44 am
Good morning everyone! When my company was acquired two years ago, we lost the MLK and President's Day holidays....so I will hear complaining from everyone today!
I am beat today, sucking down lots of coffee - I stayed up and watched the lunar eclipse last night -- it was pretty hazy so I didn't get great pictures but I enjoyed it; I'll see if any are good enough for photo Friday!
QOTD - my two favorites right now are Jason Isbell and William Topley, with a little Kacey Musgraves and Melissa Etheridge thrown in! I just bought concert tickets for Hugh Jackman, Billy Joel, Reckless Kelly and Mark Knophler for the spring and summer so they'll make the rotation soon too. I alternate music with pod casts and audio books.
Accountability - I am buckling down and doing my own CAMAW to get these final 6 lbs off before my one year anniversary! 700 or less calories a day, 25 of less carbs.
Exercise - I packed my office this morning; lots of bending, lifting, etc and I can feel it already. Depending on how the day goes, a walk tonight would be nice.
Menu:
Two toasted cold brews (warmed cold brew with half and half) and tea all morning
B - topping from two slices of pizza (meat and cheese only)
L - L&F greek
D - 4 oz ever roast chicken, 1 oz cheese
ES - L&F greek frozen (I bow to Amy for telling me about this)
Supplements all good and on track
Have a great Monday!

Good Morning! I am working today but Em and John are off so I am sure they will find something fun to do. We had a good weekend, decided to go to Ikea on Saturday (it's about 2 1/2 hours away) and it was crazy busy but we still had a good time. Daisy, glad you kept warm and I am hoping you find something that works for keeping the migraines away. It sounds like you are having to stop eating some of your faves so it better be worth it right?
I have been struggling with snacking in the evening. I am hoping to have a better week this week and have no RH episodes.
QOTD: I mostly listen to Christian contemporary but have playlists on my phone that have all sorts of 80/90's music and of course boy bands.
Time since surgery: 4 years 5 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Deli turkey, pork rinds, carbmaster yogurt and SF almond milk latte
D: Trader Joe's carrot spirals topped with Alfredo sauce and chicken sausage, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate
ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal
E: An hour stair climber and 35 mins of elliptical this morning
V/W: On track

Have a great one!
morning everyone!
I had a really nice weekend and it flew by as usual, but I feel good and rested and ready to face the week. We got a big snowstorm Friday night into Saturday morning, about 9 inches, so DH and I teamed up and shoveled the driveway together Saturday morning (We have a really long driveway, about 8 car lengths). our good shovel broke so we had to stop in the middle to go buy another one and we got Story her own little one too so she was super excited to help haha.
It felt pretty amazing to be able to do all that hard labor without feeling like I was going to die or needing to take 12 breaks! I didn't even really feel sore afterwards.
The last time I shoveled that much snow was literally the day before my surgery and it was HARD!
We went clothes shopping at TJMaxx afterwards to reward ourselves and you all know how much I love shopping LOL...I got an awesome shirt with different kinds of glasses printed all over it, which is kind of my signature now, everyone thinks of me as the girl with all the weird glasses...I also bought a Jean Jacket which was a size SMALL...what?! yeah. insanity! a year ago today I was wearing a size 3x-4x/26-28.
My 1 year checkup is coming up in a few weeks & I have labs scheduled for Weds morning. I was really hoping to get down to 160 before my appointment but this stall is killing me. I've not dropped even a fraction of a lb in about 3 weeks. admittedly, I've been slacking a little, taking small tastes of things I shouldn't and eating an extra snack during the day sometimes, but still always under 1200 cals...I just need to be closer to 900 I think in order to lose at this point and I am struggling. I am hoping the new exercise routine will push me into weight loss mode again!
QOTD: I have always been a very eclectic music fan...I love to listen to dance music when I am working out, but I am always a huge fan of 80's music. I also like a lot of 90's trip-hoppy stuff just to listen to while I paint/draw, etc. We finally joined the rest of the world and got ourselves an amazon echo, so we have actually been listening to music a lot more regularly now.
B: coffee w/half PP as creamer, 1 slice Keto banana bread
L: Turkey chili
S: L&F greek yogurt
D: smothered pork chops & garlic green beans
Have a great day my friends!

Good morning menu friends! Thanks Daisy for sending your cold air down to we peeps here in Illinois! It was a whopping9(feels like0)this morning but Lily and I managed to hold on for 2.25 miles. I only fell on my butt once on the ice too so I have a nice set of bruises to show for it! The funniest thing was Lily licking my face when I was on the ground--I couldn't do anything but laugh! Accountability yesterday was spot on and weight is 124.8. Goal today is 120 ounces of fluids as I was low yesterday. QOTD it's all about contemporary Christian or country here--Thomas Rhett is my absolute favorite at the moment. Heres todays food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and cashew butter L 4 oz lean pork D 4 oz shrimp S serving of pork rinds. Kind of craving some crunch I think. Off to find the first of many cups of coffee. Have a great day everyone and make your best choices!
Oh no Karen. Sorry for the fall, but at least Lily made you laugh. Hope the bruises aren't too bad.
