Help me, please again.
Friends,
This forum has helped me a lot. I am in psychological and psychiatric accompaniment.
After doing the surgery, I have reading about the many irreversible complications that can happen. I feel scared. Fear better and again I fall. Fear of having neuropathies, problems in vision, in the brain.
I am doing supplementation with Barefusion (100% RDA). My surgeon said he only recommends other vitamins if there are deficiencies. How is your vitamin supplementation scheme?
I still regret the surgery.
Medical historic: 9 months of surgery. Initial BMI 40.5. Current BMI 29.0. Six months after cirurgy cardiac ablation for arritmias. Two hospitalizations in an Intensive Care Unit.
thanks!
I know many many people who have had weight loss surgery and do not know one single person with neuropathy, vision problems or brain issues. What I do see, self included, are many many people leading healthy, happy active lives minus health problems they had when obese. Personally I am 61/2 years after surgery and minus the diabetes, high cholesterol, high triglycerides and high blood pressure I had before surgery. Often we see what we look for. Instead of focusing on rare problems look at before and after pictures and lives transformed and revitalized. Here's mine!
I feel like if you are looking for complications, you will certainly find people who have had them, and get yourself worked up. But most of us are living full, active, happy lives.
The complications of remaining obese are far more common.
