Happy Fri-YAY!
Not going to lie, outside isn't really my favorite. Like, why did we invent inside if outside was that good? But I do occasionally like a nice walk in the woods or that sort of thing. So with that in mind, here's me and the DH sticking out heads out a sunroof on a very cold morning watching the sunrise on Assateague Island at Thanksgiving time. It's outside, right?!
QOTD: I suppose my guilty pleasure when it comes to TV is less a particular show or type of show but is binge-watching for far too long a stretch, but the call to knit any entire sock or scarf or hat can be strong LOL. Currently I'm on Schitt's Creek and The Americans.
4 years, 11 months post-RNY
B: coffee with half and half, egg cups
S: cottage cheese
L: chicken salad and a string cheese
S: apple and almonds
D: TJ's chicken sausages and some veggies from the freezer
S: PB pretzels are now my nightly "treat"
Today is the first anniversary of my FIL's passing. DH is fairly stoic about it. We're going to go spend the day with his mom tomorrow (she has planned today with her BFF). Hoping the weather cooperates as I know it will be good for us all to spend some time together.
Happy weekend, all!

Mornin'!
Later this morning I'm talking to a pre-op class at my clinic (I have this every month), then I'm meeting up with someone to plan a reunion of women who've been on cultural exchanges to Japan. Not sure how I got sucked into this - I guess people figure since you're retired, you have all kinds of time to take on big projects. Ugh. Well, at least it will keep me busy. I'm hoping to get some time in at the gym before the snow hits later on today. If I can get my butt in gear fast enough, I'll stop by on my way to the pre-op class. Even 30 minutes on an exercise bike is better than nuttin'...
QOTD: I'm not a TV watcher and almost never turn on the TV at home (DH does occasionally, but I don'****ch it when he does). We don't have cable, either (doesn't make sense given how often the TV is on). When we're at hotels and bored out of our skulls, I'll turn on HGTV, though. I'll watch whatever's on there..
