Good morning everyone~ Glad to hear you are feeling better Daisy! I'm home again, just feeling punky and dehydrated so decided to take another sick day. It's stormy and raining still. I'm on the couch watching Andy Griffith. I forgot how funny and silly this show is and how cute is lil' Ronnie Howard? OMG! I see a nap in my future.
QOTD - No. We have huge workloads as it is and I am very protective of my staff and will only accept if I feel it will help. I do rely on certain staffers who are on it more than others, but I hold all staffers responsible for their work and do not make allowances that way. If you don't work smarter and have to work harder than others to get your work done, then it is what it is.
Accountability - ok - need to serious hydrate today
2 years 1 month - 169.7 - ugh - not hungry

I'm glad you are trying something new and hope it works for you. My DH's cousin is trained in acupuncture and her entire family swears by it.
Accountability: Some wine at an outdoor bar on the harbor in the late afternoon. It was a beautiful day. Calories weren't horrible at the end of the day.
QOTD: This is a really tough one as I was a boss and had a star and a non-performer on the team. HR kept hampering me in dealing with the non-performer for a variety of reasons, so yes the Star ended up with more on her plate than was fair. We would talk about that, I gave her full credit and all my bosses and her peers knew that she was working above and beyond. She has a great job now at another company btw. I was very happy to give her the most positive recommendation ever.

Between the popcorn and ahi jerky I'm up 3lbs today. I have an appointment this afternoon with the NP from my surgeons office, so I'm not looking forward to this weigh in.
Aquaman was good, and an escape that I needed. We have our open work order meeting in about 20 minutes, I call it the torture meeting. All those excuses for not getting the work done and all of the testosterone. I'm usually the only woman attending, I've learned to sit in the back and not say much.
Have a great day everyone!

Are you working with a Therapist Julia on your eating issues? I see most days you post that you went off track. I know so many here on OH credit a lot of their success to posting an actual menu and sticking to it here on OH and working with a therapist on their issues around eating. Being up 3 pounds I am sure is very distressing and you need to talk it out with someone. Best of Luck.
Good morning everybody. On Thursday I have to go for something called a blue light treatment to correct sun damage on my face. My understanding is that they will apply a lotion to my face, it will absorb for an hour, and then they will put me under a blue light for 17 minutes. They said afterwards i will look like I had the worst sunburn I ever had. Because of that, I am working from home on Thursday and Friday. Today I am visiting a client in the suburbs. So only one commute into the city this week. This is vaguely related to my surgery. My Baritrician is super thorough and required that I got the sun damage on my forehead fixed before she would approve surgery.
QOTD: Timely question. We had a Partner's meeting about this yesterday. The object of the meeting was to ensure that all of our staff and managers are working on at least one of our large engagements. Inclusion is very important now and the staff don't want to feel like they are working on cats and dogs (maybe not a great metaphor for this crowd) while other people are working on more high profile projects.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Pot roast
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: will see what famous having. Always Mahi Mahi-Mahi burgers in the freezer
Have a great day, all.

Good morning,
Daisy I'm glad you are finally getting some relief. Hope it continues.
What's up with this weather, freezing rain this morning in Michigan. I was trying to go carefully down the outside steps, I still fell. Hurt my wrist a little bit but otherwise I feel okay. It was laundry day otherwise I would of stayed home.
Misty is getting back to herself after her surgery on Friday. No pain medication today and she's seems fine. Friday it was so lonely at home without her until I picked her up on Saturday. As soon as we got in the car, I let her out of her carrier so we could have kisses and snuggles. We both missed each other.
Qotd, my boss tries to be fair but sometimes the coworkers don't always do their job that was assigned to them. Most of the time, I'm the last person out so I usually have to pick up the slack so the daycare is ready for the next day.
B coffee and egg McMuffin
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D going out to dinner and I don't know where we are going.
Have a good day
