G'morning Daisy & Menu family,

Happy you got some relief. Migraines are the worst and very debilitating.

First day of back to school for us, so the household is up and busy early. DD who is in DC got a snow day yesterday and first day of classes got cancelled. She was so happy just playing in the snow. DS is really dragging today, first day after a long holiday is always hard.

QOTD: I've been an independent contractor for the last 15 years so I'm my own boss and pick and choose what I work on. But when I was working at a company I had all kinds of bosses. Those for whom I was doing all the work and they would take the credit and those who were fair and gave credit where credit was due. I was never worried about extra load, somehow I always liked the challenge.

B: eggwich

L: tuna + hard boiled egg

S: parm cheese

D: Turkey chili

Have a great Tue, everyone.

Good Morning! Daisy, I am glad that you are feeling a little bit better-I hope the migraine is gone for good soon.

QOTD: We have been in a little bit of a realignment in my division so I am still getting to know my new boss. There are several duties that are being updated and so lots of projects and calls right now. As a boss, I try and be fair with work distribution. If one of my employees is great at a task and enjoys doing it I will assign something to them but then if needed move something off that persons plate to another. It doesn't always work out 100% of the time but I do try.

Time since surgery: 4 years 5 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Simply protein chips and carbmaster yogurt

D: Shredded beef burrito bowl, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1218 Protein:133 Carbs:93 Fat:40

Have a great one!

Kelly, I always laugh when I see 2 pieces of dark chocolate since I probably couldn't control myself. Good for you for being able to do it

Yeah, I buy the bars with over 90% and keep in the refrigerator and break off two squares and kind of suck on them if that makes sense.

I think about two squares is all I could take of 90%+ - that's intense!

Good morning menu friends! Lily and I walked 2.4 miles in 10 inches of snow this morning and it took the same amount of time our 3.4 miles usually takes. It was a workout with the resistance of the snow. I'll do another 2 miles on the treadmill later too. Accountability was spot on yesterday and weight is 124.4 today. Getting ready to head up to do laundry in a few minutes as soon as my coffee is done. Also housework on the agenda today too. Heres the food for today B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and homemade cashew butter added L pack of ranch flavored tuna D 5 oz chicken burger S sm apple with 1 T either cashew or peanut butter. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

We haven't had this much in years--over 10 inches this past weekend. Most is expected Saturday too and a high temp of single digits on Sunday. Yuck!
