What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?
Morning everyone. We have a little snow in the ground, (maybe and inch) but the ground is covered so that's enough to keep me inside from running. I'm lazing around in bed- about to fold clothes then showers and walk the dog. I do need to run to the grocery store- but wanna see if the sun melts some of the snow.
Qotd: eggs. I could eat them everyday multiple times a day. With different ways to prepare them, they truly are incredible! I've been good at eating them only 1, once a day. Cheese would be my second cant live without it item.

Good morning! DH and I had a lovely date night last night starting with visiting the secondhand bookstore, then dinner, and then the movie. I did actually manage to avoid popcorn! I'm really proud of myself as I always go in with better intentions. I've packed my own healthy snacks, etc, and still always end up sharing with someone who got popcorn. I just can't resist the smell, but I love going to the movies. Anyway, last night I was full enough from a very yummy Parmesan-crusted chicken and steak dinner (DH and I shared a 2-meat combo plate at Longhorn Steakhouse, so we each had about 3 oz each of steak and chicken) that I didn't want the popcorn. The smell was delicious, but once we got into the movie I forgot about it.
Qotd: I'm going to say Tyson's ready-made diced oven roasted chicken. I'm on my own for dinner a lot since DH goes to play with his friends after work and it's really convenient to measure it out and throw that chicken on a salad, or microwave it with a sauce or condiment of my choice.
Todays menu: I'm on my second cup of coffee now, and I'll probably eat leftover breakfast burrito filling (taco seasoned turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, pepper and onion) for lunch. I have chicken enchilada soup in the crockpot for dinner. Guess I'm going with a Mexican food themed day today. I'll likely have some yogurt for dessert.
