What's on your Sunday menu, RNYers?
Mornin'!
Luckily, we didn't get any of the snow many of the rest of you got - we're too far north of the band. Yay! Not a fan at all (so why do I live in Wisconsin??)
we're thinking of going to see "A Star is Born" later this morning (cheap seats at this time of day!). I've seen it, but DH hasn't - but I'd love to see it again. Haircut this afternoon - that's about it on the docket!
QOTD: what's one food you could/do eat every day and would hate to give up? Mine is Greek yogurt. I'm a yogurt connoisseur and look forward to my dose every morning! I really miss it when we're traveling or visiting people and I don't have it.
3 years 7 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with homemade blueberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: cottage cheese
AS: choice of light yogurt, protein pumpkin pie, or baby carrots with 2 T hummus
D: turkey chili

Good morning! I am headed out this morning for a night away at the beach. We went last weekend too and it was wonderful. I am looking forward to hiking and exploring with my husband. Its supposed to be sunny and 55. I am excited!
QOTD- Eggs and cottage cheese. I love it! Its my favorite breakfast. 250 calories, 25 protein and 4 carbs. It really keeps me full and energized.
Food for today-
2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese
Naked Jerky for the car
Seafood something at the beach
I will bring a Just 2 yogurt for a snack tonight and I am sure I will have leftovers from lunch
Lots of water and hot tea, vitamins always
Have a great day and be kind to one another!

I usually just fry them and eat my cottage cheese next to them with EBB seasoning. I have scrambed them and add the cottage cheese to it. It is really creamy and delicious.
Yes, I scramble the eggs with the cottage cheese. I also put in cut up Canadian bacon (20 calories a slice). Lots of protein, very filling, sticks with me, and tastes great!

Good Morning,
I am in northern Maryland and we are getting snow. I forget how pretty it can be. Today we are doing nothing. I will do my planks for the plank challenge I am in and then help DH with shoveling. Not sure about my food today.
QOTD: At this point in my journey, it would have to be a protein shake. I know I have to wean myself off of them but having one shake a day ensures that I make my protein goal.
1 year and almost 1 month - weight 161
B: protein waffle with real maple syrup
L: maybe leftover chicken parm
D: maybe chili (still cleaning out the freezer leftovers)
I will have to include a protein shake in sometime today as I am low on protein.
Lots of water, hot tea, and all vitamins.
Have a warm Sunday!

I'm the same - I have to average around 100 grams of protein a day or my prealbumin level tanks, and having a protein shake every morning assures that I get that. Otherwise, I'd have to obsess all day about whether or not I'm hitting my protein goal. Would rather not have to obsess about it when it's easy to hit if I have that morning shake!
