good morning everyone and happy Friday!

Tonight is my company holiday party and I am pretty excited...I haven't been to one in years mostly because I used to be in another department and didn't know many people from the office...but I was moved to the business office about a year and a half ago and now I know everyone LOL...I bought a dress on Amazon that I wore for Christmas Eve that I wanted to wear tonight but I am afraid it might be too cold for it...we shall see how I feel when I get home. I will post the side-by side pic I took last time I wore it.

QOTD: I have always been a pretty good sleeper and I don't think it has changed a whole lot. I fall asleep pretty easily but once in a while I do wake up in the middle of the night and have a hard time falling back asleep. according to my fitness tracker, I usually get at least 7 hours a night though, so I think that's pretty decent. Never had apnea or anything. The only difference now is that I get so much colder so if I don't have on enough layers I can't fall asleep. DH did get me a weighted blanket for Christmas 2 years ago and it is AMAZING. I suffer from sporadic bouts of Anxiety and it really does make me feel so much more calm.

B: 2 large thermoses of coffee w/ about 1/2 container of Pure protein shake as creamer, 2 HB eggs chopped up with 1/4C cottage cheese, chives & dill
L: 1/3 of a Chipotle Chicken burrito bowl w/Black beans (no rice), guac and cheese.
D: not sure-there are supposedly going to be appetizers at the party tonight. I will try to limit myself to the protein (hoping for meatballs maybe?) since I am also going to allow myself 1 glass of wine tonight!

not sure on totals but I know I'll be a bit over my plan tonght due to the wine. so far what I have is
Cals: 557, carbs 30, protein 69

Love the dress, if I were you I'd be taking any excuse I could to wear that! Going to Walmart? Break out the dress! lol but really it does look great.

Also, that meme may be one of the most accurate things I have seen all day!

Good Morning Daisy and Menu Family,

Daisy, I love the picture of you and Oliver!!! Daisy, have I asked you before if you've tried Topamax (topirimate), a preventative daily medicine for Migraines? Also, when I get a migraine I take Amerge (Naratriptin) and that usually gets rid of the migraine for me. (Sorry I can't remember if I've already recommended these to you before or not). I have a pea brain.

QOTD: I don't know if this has to do with my surgery or not, but I've turned into a real early riser. I go to bed around 10 at night and get up around 6 am. I always used to be a real night owl, so I don't know what caused me to switch.

Accountability: I'm still eating too many calories lately. Yesterday: Protein - 101, Calories - 1,450, Carbs - 160.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, apple crisp, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

Photo Friday: A picture of two of the bracelets Saralisa and I got for Christmas. The silver one says, "Stay Pawsitive" with a paw print and the gold one says, "Love is a four-legged word" also with a paw print and KAAS (our local animal shelter). Both perfect for dog lovers like Saralisa and me!
