It's really hard to stop and rein it in once you allow this to go on, I'm dealing with this also and it'sa struggle to get back to basics/new normal - but don't give up - you can do it. For me planning is everything, especially having a 'plan B'. It's invaluable for those times when you don't want to cook or eat what you had planned. Hang in there. Mind over matter.

I'm there with you too! Every single evening is a struggle to stay away from all but my planned snack,especially when everyone around me is snacking. I enjoy hot tea or decaf coffee and knit instead. At over 6 years out,I'm pretty sure this will continue to be a struggle for the rest of my life. Sometimes I go and stare at the before pic on my frig to remind myself where I came from.
Haley, you have worked really hard to get where you are.
When I hit difficult places along the road it was sometimes time to re-evaluate what I was doing and change things up. You do realize at 144 pounds at your height you have just reached a normal BMI.
With a normal BMI, maybe you are restricting too much and your body is telling you that. Just like on days I go to the gym, my body tells me I need more food. Maybe up your calories a little and try some new choices. It's not that you cannot continue to lose, but none of us can keep up the pace of the beginning.
There is also a podcast you might want to listen to called brain over binge. She has a book too.

Good morning menu-land! Daisy, I'm so glad to hear you're starting to get some relief. At least it's Friday?
We have a big weekend. We're going to the Sixers game tonight with some friends (so I'm savings LOTS of calories for tonight because we're eating dinner there and I'm sure I'll end up with pizza or chicken fingers or something like that). I've never been to an NBA game, so I'm excited. I could care less about sports, but I looove going to games - any excuse to shout obscenities in public is ok in my book and we are Philly, so... And tomorrow we're headed to the Harry Potter History of Magic exhibit at the New York Historical Society and I'm ridiculously excited about it. I saw it back in maybe September or October and want to go for my birthday in November - well all the tickets were sold out, so January it is! Just a day trip.
QOTD: I had sleep apnea pre-op which resolved itself when I lost weight. Now that I've regained, I'm snoring again and driving my DH crazy. So many reasons to get myself back to basics! Oh! I did get a weighted blanket and it does help me sleep better...though I think DH would like me to put it over my head to help muffle the sound.

I went to Aqua Zumba last night for the first time in...ages and it was A-MA-ZING! I remember why I loved it so much and can't wait to go back. I'm sad that my very favorite class, Saturdays at 7:30am, is no more though, so evenings it is.

Also, the break room table at my library is currently covered with cookies, pastries, and Christmas candies and now I want to MURDER SOMEONE!

The weighted blankets are awesome; I got one about 18 months ago; it doesn't help me sleep longer but I swear it helps me sleep better.

D: Going out to eat and don't know where. Going to a town that basically has a -restaurant row- type Main Street. Except for starting with my normal breakfast- just trying to keep to veggies and protein until dinner. And my water!
