The first time I had bleu cheese was on that type of salad - I think it had walnuts on it. It was so exotic, lol!

LOL I can't eat bleu cheese either really...I mean maybe a tiny bit on a cobb salad or something but it's just too strong and overpowering for me most of the time

For our Oscar party, I once made a Gorgonzola cake....took a wedge of gorgonzola, sliced it into thirds horizontally and then "frosted" each layer with mascarpone and then put it together like a three layer cake and pressed sliced almonds all over it. I love bleu cheese.
hmmmm....Oscar party is coming up soon, might need to bust that out again

I'll take fungus over mold any day any time!!! I'm a BIG cheese eater, but can't stomach the blue cheese. Mushrooms on the other hand...YUM!!!

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Daisy, I can't believe the migraine won't go away. What is the next step? Can you take some time off?
QOTD: No worries about not liking the EBB spice-you had to at least be able to try it right?! Shrimp. I know it's low cal/high protein but I just can't do it. The only seafood I can do is tuna/mahi-mahi/ono.

Daisy! Are we having a food twin divorce?!? We always like all the same things, but you don't like EBB spice??? Were you perhaps incapacitated from a migraine when you tried it??? LOL
On a serious note, I am so sorry that your migraine hasn't subsided. Especially after six hours in the ER. My god, are there any studies you can get into to try to get some relief? I know that Cara posted yesterday about something her DIL is doing. I assume you have tried a bunch of drugs and maybe some homeopathic stuff, I just wish there was a solution.
I slept like crap, and am sitting here at home, grumpy and tired and rather forlorn, since I ran out of my Boars Head Ever Roast chicken. So, I have no turkey which means breakfast will have to be hard boiled eggs mashed with cottage cheese. Which I enjoy but I am much more in the mood for my deli meat!!!

L: If I manage to pop out to the grocery in between meetings, my beloved Boars Head Ever Roast chicken! In a low carb wrap with humboldt fog goat cheese - I splurged at Wegmans the other day and bought this cheese, it's amazing

Kind of up in the air, but I am sensing I need to pop out to the store.

How do you keep your deli meat fresh? I had to throw out about half a pound of our beloved ever roast chicken today because it went bad! BOO! I was thinking of portioning it out right away and freezing it. Have you tried this?
